February 25, 200323 yr Hello, I wonder if there is any information available as to the specific purpose for the numerous sound folders in the Winwood folder. By that, I mean, which group of folders belong to the pilot and copilot, which group belongs to the various controllers. I know I did see a reference to the grouping previously but can't seem to locate that info now. I am running RCV3.Thanks

February 27, 200323 yr When you unzip the alternate controller and pilot scripts into RC3winwood with WinZip (for example), do you the "use folder names" option or not? And, if you did it wrong, is there any way to recover the originals without reinstalling RC3? I keep having the feeling that I have overwritten the originals with Proudfoot, etc.Thanks. Dick Parker in Northeast Ohio USA Windows 10 64-bit | Nvidia GTX 1080 | ORBX | P3D 4.4.16.27077
February 27, 200323 yr Commercial Member absolutely! if you look at the contents of the zip, the zip only contains the nn folder, which you are unzippingi think ray was a new controller, and didn't over write anyone. scott would know for sure JD Read my blog
February 27, 200323 yr It depends if Richard didn't use "Use folder names" and unzipped into another folder.Richard, yes, you need to use that function, then unzip into RCv30winwood. You should get new folders when you unzip. You shouldn't be asked if you want to overwrite (unless you're using the RCWavsUpdate01.zip and RCWavsUpdate02.zip files.Installing alternate pilot/co-pilot voices, you should get 0-je and 0-jj folders. Then you can rename as noted on the Flight Deck RCv3 page. Installing new controllers will also just create the new directory. You should also remember that if you want to install 12-Steve Lewis, you must first install 11-Ray Proudfoot or Steve won't be used. The folders have to remain in sequential order. As for the original directories, if you did overwrite one, let me know and I'll point you to the original set you can DL. There's no way to get the originals off the CD by themselves.
