The 3.01 beta has been in beta for a long time.....Is there that many bugs that it can't go to final? By the way.....RC 3 is the Greatest!!Thank you,Paul

JD,Only one possible thing: w/ 3.01 using the different NAV3.0 routes that I've had for ever, I have twice received two handoffs to approach control; one as expected then another after the first 'decend and maintain FL###...fly heading ###' instruction.Of course, I didn't save anything contemporaneously, but next time it occurs what, if anything, would you like to hear about?Also, hav eyou heard of this from anyone else? I searched the forum to no avail.Otherwise, 3.01 is a beautiful thing.Joe

nothing wrong there. depending on the size of the arrival airport, and time of day, you will have two approach controllers. one will take you at 40 miles out, the other will turn you downwind. this is similar to real life

JD,Thanks, I did not know that! Then it was a cool thing that never happened before.The other cool thing that happened was- and, as you mentioned, this was KORD to KDTW at rush hour- tower held me short for about 2.5 min at departure, just like the O'Hare we all love!Sorry...disregard previous post.Joe
