October 29, 200322 yr With a deviation such as you describe, are you getting credit for each checkpoint you have filed? It almost sounds as if you are being vectored back to a previous checkpoint. If you are using the adv window, then at the top it lists the next checkpoint you must cross unless RC approach starts vectors to final if so selected. The next checkpoint should agree with your GPS route as filed. If this is the case, then investigate the advanced menu option to skip a checkpoint and go on to the next.

October 29, 200322 yr When using RC in Fs2004 I keep being told by the controllers that I am off my filed route of plan. I usually fly IFR in the airways in the uk. I fly using Jeppesen charts and crosscheck often with gps. So I don't understand why the controller thinks I am off the route of plan??? He also seems to want me to steer in a completely different direction to where I am going ie 185 when I have filed 035!!!!Any ideas?
