Weather in FS2004 and RC 3.0.

Featured Replies

Just completed a flight from EBBR-LSGG. On approach to LSGG co-pilot left to get weather. Temp quoted at LSGG -14 on Radar Contact. The Atis weather for LSGG temp 30 C. Using Real World Weather at the time. Can you tell me why the large discrepancy in the temp please?.

you need rc v3.1 for fs2004. 3.1 reads the weather at the airports correctly. i v3, rc relied on external weather programs (activesky, fsmeteo, etc) to populate specific offsets in fsuipc with arrival temperatures, winds, etc. since you were not using an external weather program, you got the temp outside the plane.download 3.1, information on how to upgrade is pinned at the top of the forumbe sure to get the latest fsuipc, and advdisp, as well as the new controllersetsi think the temperature will be correct in 3.1 :-)jd

JD, Is this why the callsign Speedbird is not displayed in the airline callsigns option !!.

i think if you choose british airways, you will hear speedbirdjd

JD. I am hearing both callsigns- British Airways from Ground- Speedbird from Control.

Cypilot,The updated wav files that you install as part of the update to 3.1 will fix your speedbird problem. See the post at the top of the forum entitled 'Build 2269 - Uploaded May 9, 2004' for details.Ian
