October 16, 200421 yr Hi AllI downloaded the Constallation from FSDZIGNS for FS2004 several weeks ago and placed the Advdisp panel to the 2D panel. This aircraft does not have a Virtual panel, but does have an engineers panel which when switched to, encompasses the complete screen same as the 2D panel. The problem is that the Advdisp panel also attaches to the Engineers panel which causes it to cover up several of the gauges.I have tried the various options to try and keep the display docked to the 2D Panel, but it keeps docking to the Engineers panel when you open it up.This is not a serious problem, but if there is a fix please advise. The advdisp remains in the 2D panel when you switch to spot view.Tks. for any reply'sKenny G.
October 16, 200421 yr Moderator Kenny,ADVDISP is used by RC but it's written and suported by Pete Dowson. I suggest you post over at his place ... http://forums.simflight.com/viewforum.php?...f9fa4caf03c8641Make sure you've docked the window. Things may go wrong if you haven't. Ray (Cheshire, England). October 17, 200421 yr A bit confusing but check the advdisp docs (latest version 2.123) for the difference between docking and locking. In the FSUIPC .ini file you can assign a key stroke to hide the window on demand. As an example, I have assigned ctrl-x to hide it when taxiing requiring a wider view out the windshield since I usually place it in the upper left once I start flying.

If you lock I believe it will lock on any panelyou display.I have it docked on the 2D panel, and it also is displayed in the Engineer's panel which I believe is likely also a 2D panel. There is no V.C. Panel with this plane.Tks. again for the replyKenny G.
