Radar Contact & FS2004

Featured Replies

In my eagerness to fulfill high fidelity in my flights with FS2004 I just bought ActiveSky 2004. I'm considering to purchase Radar Contact 3.1 too. But what I need is (1) some fact about the differences between the FS2004 built-in ATC and Radar Contact 3.1(2) I would also like to know when we can expect the realise of RC ver 4.0 and (3) what the conditions (in US dollars) will be for updating from 3.1 to 4.0Kind RegardsLars

1) you can download the manual, and read it. i know that isn't much fun, but you will have an accurate understanding of what rc can and cannot do. there is also a table on our website which shows a comparison of features. i think it is under the faq link2) we operate on the quality not calendar motto. we are working on one final feaure for v4, then a huge amount of testing will be done. if i say january, and it's february, people will say "but you said january". to be fair, we will announce when we are feature complete. count on a couple of months after that.3) there is always a discount for existing customers to the new version. that is historically been about a 10$ savings. if you want to wait until v4, by all means do. but download the manual and read it 2 or 3 times so you're ready to go with the basics when v4 comes out. or buy it now, and experience it first hand.jd
