Lost audio at approach phase

Featured Replies

JD,Ever since the patch to FS9.1 I have been losing RC audio during the approach phase.I get clearance to get wx, then afterwards follow instructions to start the descent and hand hand off to approach for final vectors......and that is where I lose RC. I never get to the final altitude for glideslope and localizer capture.I am using RC31_v2272. Do you need files from me to check it out?ThanksDom

do you get any approach dialog. or just no final and glideslope/localizer?you're not asking for a visual approach, or something else?does this happen at all arrival airports, or just one?

JD, further our discussion....do you get any approach dialog.....YES you're not asking for a visual approach, or something else?.....NOdoes this happen at all arrival airports, or just one? I scrubbed my drives with Norton System Utilities, ran an intensive chkdsk /f, and defragged. I can say that of the four flights tested yesterday, all were fine except an approach into PANC in which the entry to the glideslope was a bit high at 6,100 ft and resulted in a wild ride down to touchdown (hehehe)So at his point I would say case closed and thanks for your help. Anxiously awaiting V4.P.s...into which file do I add or modify ILS frequencies?Dom
