February 21, 200521 yr I have not used Radar Contact since upgrading to FS9 and Windows XP. I loaded my Version 3.0 CD, downloaded and installed Version 3.01 and received my new registration key and registered succcessfully. I then downloaded and installed Version 3.1 and the required Wave File upgrades. When I load a flight plan from MS Flight Planner, I only get a partial display in the flight plan window: "KGRB to KTVC@1500(Alt1-, Alt2-)/" When I click the Start button, I get the following error message, and RC shuts down: "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range"Can someone help me with this?Bob Sturm
February 22, 200521 yr Bob,What flight planner are you using to create your flights? Try downloading a fresh copy of rcv31.zip and unzip it to your Radar Contact folder. Finally double check that you are running FSUIPC v3.45 and Adv Display v2.131
February 22, 200521 yr I'm using the FS9 flight planner. I just downloaded and installed RCV31.zip last night. That's the version I'm having trouble with. I'm using FSUIPC v3.41, but I will install v3.45.
February 22, 200521 yr Commercial Member make sure the splash screen of rc says v3.13.01 cannot read fs9.1 .pln files.if you want, send the .pln to me, and i'll try to open itjd JD Read my blog
February 22, 200521 yr The splash screen shows v3.10.2272. I have the latest FSUIPC. Here is the deal...some flight plans will load, some will not load, as described. Most of the time, they will not load. I have tried a number of different flight plans, both newly created and previously created. same results. All flight plans load and run fine in FS.Bob
February 24, 200521 yr Hi Bob,Are the flight plans originally created in FS9 or did you move them (like I did awhile back) from FS 2002? I had a similar problem a bit back. I re-created all my flight plans in FS9 and have since had no problems. A way to tell this would be if you look at your FS created flight plan and there are no frequencies next to a VOR in your plan as outlined below:KFRGDPKshould beKFRGDPK(117.20)Hope it helps!Cheers,Mike T.
