ATC volume adjustable?

Featured Replies

Just finished my first flight with RC4. I've been using RC3 for over a year now, so it was mostly familiar ground, but some of the new features were a pleasant change of pace. I don't think the new voices are nearly as bad as some folks are making them out to be. Some sounded pretty damned good actually. I'm reminded of my first few flights with RC3 when I felt the interface was cumbersome and the ATC voices sounded "artificial". In fact, Radar Contact made a very bad first impression on me. After a few more flights I wasn't even thinking about how the voices sounded, only the information they were conveying was of any importance. I dunno, maybe I have a different set of priorities as far as immersion in the sim. I would like to up the volume on the ATC voice if that is possible. Some panels are noisier than others, and a few of the voices are a tad hard to make out.Mark Kuebeler

we'll be looking at that in future releases. ray and dean tried their damndest to get the levels the same. but some voices when you increased the levels, made them sound worse.for now, decrease some of the other sounds so that rc is a little louder. and you can always ask for a repeat. maybe there are soft spoken controllers ;-) doubt it.jd

Your wife is NOT soft spoken for sure!!! :)
