December 20, 200520 yr For anyone that is having AdvDisp display problems using recent nVidia drivers (such as 81.95 WHQL) and AA 8xS, I suggest using the nVidia 71.89 WHQL driver available, among other places, at the nVidia website under driver archives. Also, PMDG aircraft load without a "create a flight" display problem at the navdata step using 71.89, although sometimes the "rotating aircraft" display box is black. December 20, 200520 yr Since the day 1 with my Nvidia 6800 GTO I have been hassling with drivers, stutters, crashes, lockups, you name it. Each new driver has it's own set of problems. Will I buy another Nvidia Card in my next PC???? Take a guess.....:-fume
December 20, 200520 yr Author I wasn't endorsing or criticizing nVidia or ATI, just passing on some information. I thought we were supposed to avoid that sort of thing in the forum. Dick Parker in Northeast Ohio USA Windows 10 64-bit | Nvidia GTX 1080 | ORBX | P3D 4.4.16.27077
December 20, 200520 yr Why not criticize a product that many people have problems with? That is what these forums are for, to let people know what to avoid.... Just check out the MS hardware forum, or some of the forums on Graphics Cards to see other ocmplaints.

Just check out the MS hardware forum, or>some of the forums on Graphics Cards to see other ocmplaints. This forum (RC4) is not *these* forums. If you would like to get into a discussion of the *merits* of the Nvidia products - then I would be glad to talk at length about it - but not here - this is not the appropriate forum for such discussion.-michael
