December 24, 200520 yr HiIn V3 the copilot could fly the plane by himself, setting heading, frequencies and everything and it would stop at about 50m from destination and then you took over. How can you do this with V4? Is this achieved by pressing Ctrl-Shift-M? or do you enter something else?Stelios Stelios Christofides
December 24, 200520 yr Hi Stelios,Should be the same as in v3. Ctrl-shift-M ought to work. All the best,John

December 25, 200520 yr Author Thanks jd but when I am using Level-D plane after Departure I do press Cntr-Shift-M and i do hear that "Otto" takes over but i can't see that the altitude and headings take effect. If I change to the default Boeing 737 then it works. The co pilot also has control of the comms (since previously i also pressed Cntr-Shift-K).SteliosP.S. By the way in V3 when I was parked in Larnaca airport Cyprus ( 35 degrees Latitude and 33.5 degrees longitude) I could hear Greek chatter. In V4 I can't ( I did checked Pre-Recorded chatter in the General screen). December 25, 200520 yr Hi Stelios,'Otto' can only control planes equipped with the standard MS autopilot. Nothing has changed since v3.I don't think Greek chatter was installed in v3 either. Did you put some in yourself. Certainly I have none installed in either v3 or v4.If you still have v3 installed check in the folder winwood291 (Nicosia). See if any of the folders in there contain .wav files. If there is a file named something like $Greece.txt that would mean RC was also checking for chatter in a folder winwoodGreece.Any custom chatter you put into v3 (winwood102 and above) can be copied straight over to the same folders in v4.Do NOT copy anything from v3 to winwood1 to 99, they contain the controller and pilot wavs which are different in v4 to those in v3!Happy Christmas,John
December 25, 200520 yr Author Thanks John for your replyYes you are right I did installed the Greek chatter on V3 myself, but I don't remember how. I think I copied the chatter for Greece to a folder in RC but I don't remember which one. Can you please help me to do this with V4?SteliosP.S. Pity I can't use Otto with Level_D plane. Stelios Christofides
December 25, 200520 yr Hi Stelios,Step 1, make a copy of the winwoodargentina folder and rename it greece. So you should now have a winwoodgreece folder with several sub-folders (app, atc1 etc). atc1, atc2, atc3 would contain centre chatter for the 3 vertical strata in RC. The others are self explanatory.Step 2. Install your chatter files in these folders. To see an example of the way the files must be named look in the USA folder. A useful utility called ckrename is available to do the renaming (search for ckrename on google).Step 3 To get this chatter to play over greece and cyprus create an empty file called $greece.txt in winwood144 and winwood201.The easiest way to see which centre corresponds to which winwood folder is to open the z4.csv file in rcv4data with wordpad (a backup is recommended before doing this of course). There is a section in the manual explaining all this in more detail.Happy Christmas,John
December 25, 200520 yr Author John Merry XmasI found the Nicosia center is in winwwod 291. If I find where in winwood is the Athens (Greece) chatter then I can copy those in 291.So where in winwood is the Greek chatter? I did a search in z4.csv but I could not find Athens or Greece there. Stelios Stelios Christofides
December 25, 200520 yr Hi Stelios,Athens is the winwood144 folder (called Athinai I think).All the best,John
