December 29, 200520 yr I realize this is probably an impossible question to answer, but what is the liklihood that RC will be compatible with the next generation of FS. Is there any history on RC and the progression of FS up to FS9? Everything I have read on all the forums is that this is one of the best add ons, but before I spend $44, I want to be reasonably certain I can continue to enjoy its benefits in a future FS upgrade. Thanks for reading this far and I appreciate all answers.Sherm

December 29, 200520 yr Author If you are trying to say that I asked a stupid question, I more or less acknowledged that at the beginning. But, is there a history of RC and FS in the past that can reveal whether the product has been used or has been adaptable for subsequent upgrades of FS?Sherm
December 29, 200520 yr Sherm,We've been successful to date. Unless MS makes dramatic changes in the next FS, there's no reason to believe that success won't continue. If it can be done, it will be done.
December 29, 200520 yr Commercial Member rcv1 works with fs98, fs95 rcv2 works with fs2000, fs98, fs95rcv2.2 works with fs2002, fs2000, fs98, fs95rcv3 works with fs20002, fs2000, fs98, fs95rcv3.1 works with fs2004, fs2002, fs2000, fs98, fs95*rcv4 works with fs2004, fs2002, fs2000, fs98*, fs95*where * means not thoroughly tested.bottom line, if fsuipc stops working with fs, or vice versa, there will be a lot of things that stop working. rc would be one of them, until a suitable replacement was written, or a decent sdk was released.i think the storyline from above, is we have worked with everything ms has released.what's in the future? something new. what it will be, is anyone's guess. jd JD Read my blog
