the sound plays on the machine that is running rc.some people have taken a cable (male - male) and plug one end into the sound cards audio out (not the speaker jack), and the other end into the other pc's audio in (not microphone)jd

Hello, I'm new to RC. I want to run RC on client PC, but it is in a different room than my FS computer. Connecting the two computers with a cable to get RC sound on my FS computer is not practical. Does anyone else have a situation like this and figured out a work around?

Hi, why would you want to run rcv4 in a client pc in another room?You need to get 200x flights or some other things in rcv4 main window, which will be in client pc. If you want to change destiny, there will be a separate window so you can specify the ICAO.

yeah, I guess I got a case of the dumba$$es as well,  as I figured I would get sound from my client PC and obviously that's turning out to be not the case… That I could Have  Splashtop run my client machine and hear the sounds through my iPad which IS in my cockpit room....but sleeping wife would hear it too....hmmmm...do I see some combination of my hardware Mixer or bluetooth or VIRTUAL CABLE in the scenario?....we shall see....
