Ground control issue

Was departing KLIT - cleared to runway 4L - only way to 4L is to cross 4L - as I was taxiing to the crossing point, I was able to see an AI jet in position. I slowed and kept approaching - the AI aircraft began takeoff roll. I waited for ATC to tell me to hold at the crossing but no instructions came - I held anyway as there would have been a collision had I ventured onto the runway. After the AI a/c passed, I continued taxi and heard nothing from RC4 until I was getting closer to the hold point. No big deal, it's always the PIC responsibility to be aware of surroundings but just wondered if RC4 keeps track of this sort of thing.BTW, haven't had as much fun flying the sim using your product since I used to fly IRL.Vic Visit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpghttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg

sorry, i don't detect that situation.glad you're having fun!jd

It's actually a very good practice in real life to look before crossing a runway, even if ATC clears you. I would rather take a look than drive onto the runway, and see an aircraft bearing down on me at 100+ MPH.
