Now need help in editing the whole set to give it a more professional cut ;-coolWhat i need is a program for editing the whole set (i.e. noise) in a few mouse clicks. A batch? Will Cool Edit be useful?thanks for helpingLuigi ;-)

we use sound forge, can be a little expensive, but it is powerful and has batch processing.i use wavepad, which is a lot less expensive than sound forge, and it has batch processing as well.you have to be careful about batch processing. trimming for one wav could be perfect, but because of ambient noise when you recorded, trimming doesn't work on another.i'll give you an ftp url to upload it, when you're done. we'll give it a listenjd

thanks for suggestions.i'll let you know my results asapLuigi ;-)

Done, not too shabby imho...Can you please email me the link for the "audition"?btw my cd version is 4.0.3675, should i need what you called v4.01?!?http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=16787&page=or did you meant v4.1?thanksLuigi ;-)

Well done Luigi. I've just done myself and am doing my wife (if you'll pardon the expression). I've had to edit each file individually to remove the silences at the beginning and end of each wave file. I found Cool Edit 2000 brilliant fo this and very quick - I could do a complete set in about 2 hours (the edit that is - recording took a tad longer).

4.01 (a point release) will be available shortly4.1, which is a set of enhancements before we start 5.0 will be many months awayjd

Understand. But thought 4.01 should be older than 4.0.3675...Can you please post the ftp link for my voice set?thanksLuigi;-)

i would if i knew what it was. what directory did you use in winwood? i usually have to assign them, so there isn't overlapjd

i randomly selected 61.Couldn't figure though how to add noise (Sound Forge v.8) to the whole set via batch procedure; so my .wav's sound a bit too clean imhocan you help?Luigi ;-)

If you happen to have Roxio CD burner, it has a wave editing file included. IT means editing one at a time, but is good for cutting noise or silence off the beginning or end. But limited to one at a time.

do you want me to listen to them? you don't have to "radio-ize" them, since you would be hearing yourself in the cockpit, not you over the radio.did you upload your wav set somewhere? where can i download it from? do you want to make them publicly available?for v4.01, i need to add a "flag", etc.jd
