Hi all, I'm thinking of buying Radar Contact I've searched the forum and I'm impressed with what it has to offer, I have one question though.When being vectored onto final can it be shortened down to 8-10 miles instead of the default 20-25?Thanks in advance.UKP

are you asking can the downwind leg can be reduced? yes, you can ask for a short final any time. you can also ask for an iap approach, and fly the approach from the plate you wantif that's not what you mean, can you clarify?jd

if you choose an iap approach, there is no downwind vector, base vector or final vector. you fly what your plate or fmc says.if you don't ask for an iap, when appropriate, i give you a downwind/base and final vectors.jd
