Just an onservation regarding the tutorials they seem to be set up for the default FS9 737 when I would have thought anyone who purchasedsuch a complex addon as RC4 would, like me, never fly default aircraft (I have deleted most default aircraft from my system as they kept turning up as AI.) The only 737 on my system is the PMDG version. I guess I can still do the tutorials but after a quick read over them there will be some additional hoops to go through that I will need to figure out for myself. Are there any additional gotchas I should be aware of if I try the tutorials with the PMDG 737?Bruceb

i flew all the tutorials in the default lear. i don't see how the type aircraft affects the tutorials. i'm not really telling you how to fly the plane, but how to interact with rc while you are flying the plane.obviously you can't climb to some of the altitudes in a cessna, that are in the tutorials, but whether it is a pmdg or a default 737 - the tutorial is the same.a couple of the tutorials are written for the turboprop as well.jd

Well the main problem is the use of an FMC in these much more complex aircraft rather than the default GPS as assumed in the tuts. For example I have to translate the flightplan suppied into something the PMDG FMC can use and it took a bit of digging around to find a cruise altitude to enter into the FMC in the first tut. Anyhow on looking further into this I think trying to do these tuts in anything other than a default aircraft is going to be an excecise in frustration for a novice RC4 user. I think I still have the default Lear on my system I will use that. Bruceb
