Stuttering in 4.01 but not in 4.0

Featured Replies

Hello all,I'm one of the users with an AMD Athlon64 processor. I did add a message to the thread on stuttering which may not have been picked up. After installing 4.01 on my second HD (I went straight to that version not having had RC before), first impressions were that it cured the problem but after a couple of days the visual stuttering as the voices started became very bad. So, taking a hint from one or two others I uninstalled and installed version 4.0. The difference is amazing, I have no stuttering at all! The only compromise is the rather more robotic and "stitched together" voices.Of course it would be nice not to have to compromise this way and the point of this post is to ask if this problem is being addressed? From what I've seen of the RC team I can't imagine that you're ignoring us AMD users! ;) Iain
