Having d/loaded and tried the FSX demo I don't think I'll be buying it for quite some time. I am of the opinion that it really needs DX10/Vista to run properly and I don't buy new OSs until at least the second service pack. In the event of RCv5 coming out before then will it run on FS2004 i.e. backward compatible as previous versions have been?Iain Smith

i'm developing v5 on fs2004 at this moment. i'm not sure there will be anything in fsx that i will be leveraging. so tentatively, v5 should run on fs9 and fs10jd
