November 2, 200619 yr Andreas,Canned chatter from around the world is being phased out of RC in the upcoming versions as the interaction with AI is becoming more prominent. Otherwise you'll hear canned chatter landing on RWY36 and pressue QNH1009, when you and all the AI are landing on another runway and the pressue is really 1017. Also as RC grows in size, the massive amount of disk space allocated purely for canned chatter comes under question.As for Russian & Chinese chatter, these are very difficult to get hold of. Different countries have different laws about radio scanning and I wouldn't want to find out the hard way that recording chatter in China or Russia was illegal ;o)Subs
November 2, 200619 yr thanks for your reply. Actually I am not glad that you are removing real world ATC from the upcoming versions. It really adds much realism on a flight from Atlanta to London to start with American chatter, continuing with Gander Oceanic and Shanwick Oceanic and then going over to listen to a British controller.
