April 26, 200719 yr >it's on the list. we will have to create more descriptors for>the zones, right now it is faa/icao. we'll probably add a>foot/meter field for those folks still using metersThat sounds promising. Thanks for the info, jd !Mike
May 3, 200719 yr Finally all necessary zones have been added and waves recorded. Everything does work.Several more questions to ID. If You wouldn't against it.1)What does this last letter in line below means? (It's either I or F)BW5023,1,BOSTON,124.525,337,F2)After RC's Departure passes you to Control with correct freq (that is mentioned in s4.csv), then, higher, RC ask to tune new freq-s of that zone, that are not typed nowhere in the base's files (for example, at fist - the only in s4 129.5, then from imagination 133.35 and 133.55)When next to departure zone is reached, freq to tune is again correct (no matter what flight level you occupy while intersect boundary). So: Why? How to sweep out those imagined freq-s?
May 3, 200719 yr Commercial Member 1) faa standards or icao standards. (millibars or inches, position and hold or line up and wait, etc)2) frequencies for different stratums are randomly generated. as soon as you cross into another zone, the zone's frequency takes precedencejd JD Read my blog
May 3, 200719 yr 1)Is there possibility to forbid randomizing?2)What meaning is for "999" at the end of each line in z4.csv?
May 3, 200719 yr Commercial Member 1) since i don't know the frequencies for every stratum, of every sector, of every center, i have to do something.....2) end of line indicatorjd JD Read my blog
May 7, 200719 yr We have no such stratum's own freq-s in Russia - that is why I am asking about this. In either case, does RC "transfer" AI crafts to these randomised freq? Or they stand on default?
May 8, 200719 yr Commercial Member the ai chatter will make up a frequency for them too, if they change stratums. the ai don't actually do it, and who knows what they do....jd JD Read my blog
