Hi, can anyone point me to a site that explains easly how to fly a departure procedure posted for a certain airport? For example KSAN runway 27 or 9?Kinda like Departute Prodcedures for Dummies :-hahOne more things, will the tower ever clear you for takeoff if there is no one on the runway or will it always tell you to position and hold or hold short?Thanks,Bill

More questions on the departure procedures. Who assigns which procedure to use? Like KSAN has 3 different procedures, Border Five Dep, LNSAY Two Dep, and the Peble Three Dep. Does it depend on were you are going? Like KSAN to KLAS...I would think you use Border Five Dep. Just curious.Thanks,Bill
