July 13, 200718 yr Commercial Member if rcv4 is causing the lockups, a log will tell me whyfollow the steps pinned at the top of the forum, and make a .log, duplicate the error, and send me the .logcould it be the scenery? try a different date, like winter. see if that helpsalso verify the version of fsuipc that is running.any errors when it locks?jd JD Read my blog
July 13, 200718 yr Author Hi JD,I already removed FS2004 and all my add-ons (48.9 Gig). I just got done running registry mechanic and I'm in the process of running perfect disk. Once the disk is defragmented, I've got about 100 CD's that have to be re-installed. It's going to take me all night. I'll see if the problem is gone after I'm done, I'll keep you posted on my progress. July 14, 200718 yr Commercial Member seems a little drastic. changing the seasons, verifying fsuipc, would have been a lot less painless.but with 48 gig of add-ons, who know what is causing the problems.maybe you should install fs, then rc, and see what happens. then start loading things 1 at a time, until you find out what is breaking fsjd JD Read my blog
