I lost RC sound suddenly. I never did any problem with RC. Last week I purchased PMDG-747 and RC did work well until tonight. RC-texts were on the screen but there are no sounds.I checked with LDS-767, RC-fs9 and RCX no sounds also.Will you please advise how I can obtain sound again.Sanal

vista? xp?worked before new plane, doesn't work after new plane. what about the new plane interferes with the rc making sounds?what kind of sound card? latest drivers for the sound card?jd

XP no vistaThe latest plane downloaded was PMDG-747. AS I said before it did RC worked with PMDG-747 with out any problem almost a week and I made several flights . I have DellXPS 410, 2 Duo Processor E6600 (4MB L2 Cache 2.4 GHz,100FSB) XP Pro.2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM1 GB NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX@ Dual Graphic CardSound Cards: Integrated 7.1 Audio.I didn't download any driver for sound card.Since last December , 2006 RC was performing well. I never had any problem.Yesterday, I un-installed RC and re-installed again.No sound with any other planes including 747.RegardsSanal

RC plays .wav files through your main sound system outside of FS. Check your windows/sound card settings for the .wav volume slider. If you bring up the select voices or callsigns page (FS does not need to run) if you click on the speaker, are you getting output? Can you play other sound applications using .wav files?
