November 26, 200718 yr Hi allOn two occasions when declaring an emergency I have selected to be diverted to the nearest airport. However, on both occasions the airports that RC selected seemed not to take into account my altitude and by the time I had circled to lose height it would have been quicker to have diverted to another airport which was further away but at a distance that was more suitable for my position. My question is should RC take account of altitude when selecting the divert or is it simply done on a "straight line distance" basis?I'm running RC 4.3.3845 for FS9.ThanksIain Smith
