Hi there again, and thanks again for your previous help.I was wondering why when I am taxying, does the radar contact control box keep popping up even although I've press the close cross? Is there any way to stop this? Also, is there any way to tune out of the frequency or stop oneself from hearing the other aircraft chatting on the frequency? i have no idea what you referring to. what box? what close cross?you don't want to hear the other ai on the radio, when you're on the same frequency? that will be a first :-) usually it is the other way around. why don't i hear other ai on the frequency...jd

Sorry, I wasn't very clear! The ATC box that comes up when you are using radar contact giving you options to reply, request, etc. For example, I requested clearance and taxi with it. You get it with the ` key. However, it keeps opening automatically even though I have closed it! Why is this? Hope that makes it clearer? (Just in case it is relevant, i don't have "Show ATC text" enabled).So as far as not hearing the AI - is there a way to adjust the volume or tune out of the frequency?Thanks again for your help,Rudy

I believe the problem I am having is that the FSUPIC interface window is opening all the time of its own accord, and each time I close it with the X in the top right-hand corner, it re-appears again. i'm not sure why it pops open, after you close it.the new quick start guide is in the new 4.3 document, which you can get from www.jdtllc.com/v4/rcv43.pdf - see if the fsuipc settings you have agree with the screen shots in the new docyou need to keep the ai chatter check box checked.to adjust the volume, adjust the other fs volumes higher, and then reduce the master volume on the windows status barjd
