March 9, 200818 yr The only way for RC to get SID/STAR waypoints is in the FS .pln file. (Keep in mind that RC may only use these in part. You can search how to work with this by searching maybe for FMC in this forum and STAR in the manual and tutorials.)I have the PMDG 737NG series. There is no utility provided to convert plans created by the FMC to FS 9.1 format .pln file that I am aware of.I let my planner (FSBuild) put in the SID/STARs as required or I put in the waypoints myself in the FSB route window. if you like you can read those SID/STAR waypoints off of your FMC legs page to add to your planner. Either way, the SID/STARs are changed to waypoints in the exported FS9 .pln by your planner and also an export to your FMC type.On the FMC you should be able to go to INDEX/NAVDATA/FLIGHTPLANS. You'll get a list of the plans you exported to the FMC that you can scroll through. When you LSK the plan name it will put it in the scratchpad. Now go to the RTE page and LSK CO ROUTE and that plan in your FMC folder will load for activation and EXE.Since the FMC export and the FS9 export were both done at the same time, there is now a synchronized plan in your FS9 plan folder for RC to load.It is best to use only common way points to all runways based on your departure and arrival directions. You will not know which runway until at the proper phase of flight. On the FMC I do load on the ARR section of the DEP/ARR - ARR for the destination the IAPs on the right side of those pages after approach gives me the runway assignment. This is not the STAR from the FMC database but just the approach to use as a guide on the ND when following vectors. If you want to follow all of the waypoints on the FMC vis LNAV/VNAV, then request an IAP after approach gives you the active runway and you acknowledge. In this mode RC will let you do your own navigation and be quiet until you intersect final.FSNAV to export to the PMDG flightplan folder will need a .dll to be added that should be available on their support site if it is still open.
