Has anyone used Radar Contact 4 with AI Separation ? I use it due to its much timely approaches than aismooth but when I am holding short of runway..i would see all AI getting clearance for take off but me..Anybody else have this issue?

have you clicked on rebuild rc scenery database, so i know where your runways are, in your scenery files?jd

Hi JD,ofcourse I have! i do get "Contact Tower on 11x.x. " message but when I am next to be in the position and hold..I never get that clearance :(

follow the steps pinned at the top of the forum. be sure you click debug before loading the .plnduplicate the problem, and send me the .logjd

On some sceneries the hold short lines are far from the runway. RC depends on you being within a certain distance from the runway center line.Depending on your aircraft, if the pilot viewpoint is high above the surface and in some cases forward of the nosewheel, the cockpit view makes you look like you are too far forward (happens in real world also). Try getting closer to the runway and see what happens.
