April 13, 200818 yr OK I got RC installed with a new key. I was able to rebuild the database this time. There is no item in the menu of FSX for a AVD display. When I run RC with a default FS aircraft(737) and just FSX running it loads and runs fine. I am able to get RC running with just FSX and the LDS-767 as well When I try to run RC with Active Sky X running I get the IPC timed out error. Is there something in the set up of ASX SP2 or RC that I have to change? This is the first problem I have had with ASX Snowfalcon13 KRTS Reno, NV. April 24, 200818 yr i Had the same problem.as you have vista you need to run RC in admistirator mode.to do this you need to right click the rc.exe file and click run as admistrator, or in the file properties you, under the compatibility tab you can check the run as administrator box.steve
