Reduce speed not to exceed 250 knots

Featured Replies

In the manual it says to ignore ATC and go faster than that below FL100 where necessary in a heavy like the 744 but of course ATC complains when I do that.Is there a menu option to request an exemption or must I use the option in General for 250 @ FLxxx?Thanx.

i believe if you are flying in non-faa areas, there is an option on the departure airport window, to ask for a faster than 250jd

So the in FAA controlled Areas, and Canada I presume, the working assumption for RC is that I can exceed 250 knots below Fl100? RC does not know if I am flying a heavy or not so would it just be a generic sort of blanket exception?

On your RC aircraft tab be sure to select your type and class (heavy, jet, turbo-prop, prop).
