I recently had a system crash and needed to restore Vista (32 bit version).I try to run Radar Contact and get the error message "Component 'MSCOMCT.ocx' or one of its dependencies is missing or invalid." The file is present in C:windowssystem32 and I have used regsrvr32 as suggested elsewhere in this forum.However, it Radar Contact still gives the same message.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling RC.All suggestions welcomed.Thanks.

if this is vista, you have to start the command window as an administrator, before the regsrvr32jd

Thanks, this fixed it - there was me thinking I didn't need to 'cos I had an administrator account. Dohh!

in vista, administrator accounts are just user accounts that can become admin accountswelcome to vistajd
