SAN DIEGO – May 5, 2021 – Attendees from around the world can register now to participate in FlightSimExpo, North America’s largest enthusiast flight simulation conference. For those attending in-person in San Diego, single-day registration begins at $25. As in past years, the in-person component of this year’s event will feature exhibits, live seminars, and an event social for attendees. The main event is held on Saturday and Sunday, September 25-26, with an add-on series of seminars called Captains’ Corner taking place on Friday.

“Following the success of recent in-person events like Sun ‘n Fun and MRO Americas 2021, we’re excited to be bringing an in-person FlightSimExpo back in 2021,” says Evan Reiter, co-founder of the conference. “I’m really looking forward to grabbing a drink and re-connecting with people I haven’t seen for over a year.”

However, FlightSimExpo recognizes an in-person event may not be feasible for everyone this year. That’s why, for the first time ever, FlightSimExpo 2021 also offers an online registration for $15. This online registration includes exclusive access to event seminars and the ability to chat and engage with participating developers throughout the weekend. In partnership with the large online networks, virtual attendees will be able to participate in a simulator fly-in to KSAN on Saturday alongside other online activities during the weekend.

For more information on FlightSimExpo, to view the full schedule, and to register, visit flightsimexpo.com. Attendees making travel plans are encouraged to book discounted FlightSimExpo hotel rooms and learn about airfare discounts with Delta, Southwest, and WestJet.

For prospective sponsors and exhibitors, it’s easier than ever to participate in FlightSimExpo this year. Exhibiting is just $500, which includes a table, chairs, electricity, and internet. Given the hybrid nature of this year’s event, organizations can also engage with FlightSimExpo attendees remotely! Sponsorship packages include a free promotional video in partnership with AviationLads and the option to host a virtual exhibit booth. Sponsor and exhibitor registration is available until August 20, 2021. However, FlightSimExpo encourages sponsors and exhibitors to register early: the first round of participating developers will be announced in the next few weeks.

“Once the initial list of sponsors and exhibitors is confirmed, we’ll be publishing regular updates on our website so the community has complete transparency regarding who is attending this year’s event in-person,” says organizer Phil Coyle. “And, as always, if you have questions about the event or you want to get involved, send us an email!”

For more information about the event and to register, visit flightsimexpo.com. Recordings from past seminars are available on YouTube. For pictures, like the event on Facebook and follow it on Twitter.
