  1. I downloaded it and checked out the demo. Looks really good, I might need to start buying all the rest of the simflyers scenry's. Does it take a day or so to get a key??? Should I buy them all at once or does it keep track on how many you buy and you get discounts off that???
  2. Hey Guys can't figure this out. I've been using 1.15 for sometime now, no problems. All of the sudden it will not process METAR which I guess is what 2002 gets the weather from. I am using FSUPIC 2.96 and have not done anything diffrent to my machine. It worked Saturday and has not worked since. Any help as always is helpfulhttp://home.swbell.net/vollmerd/Image_2003...1747.33.453.bmpThanksVollmey
  3. Hey Basil,I just ordered some of that Artic Silver just for grins. I'll let you know how it works out.Vollmey
  4. No, it was the fan and the heatsink. As far thermal paste, it had a kinda a tape on the bottom, which I assume that is the paste you are talking about. I peeled the protective cover as it said to do before installing and clipped it on there just like I did when I built the computer. I have dropped since the first post to 42C/107F so it's almost back to where I was. I just don't know what other AMD processors run at so I have nothing to compare it too. I know you can buy the paste/tape on it's own. So I will monitor the temp closely and maybe go buy some extra paste.Vollmey
  5. Hey guys, I got a AMD 1800+ processor on a Asus A7n266-e MB. My CPU fan took a dump and so I replaced it. No damage done to the CPU since I was sitting at the computer when the fan almost died and the Asus probe promptly let me know about the fan RPM. So, I install a new fan and now my Temps are steady 44C/111F when the computer is just sitting. I went to the AMD site and it says that meltdown temp for this processor is 90C. I was running before the fan dump at a avergage I would say of 40C/104F. Should I worry?? Anything I should do??? Thanks Vollmey
  6. Hey DamienI too experience a little bit of freezing when the WX downloads. I use DSL and have it set up to download every 5 mins. It gets the WX pretty quick show it's two quick pauses. Kinda bothersome but I can deal with it.Just letting you know.Vollmey
  7. No, I am using Win 2000 Prof. I messed around last night some more. It seems to be happening with Active sky. I have been using Active sky because FSmeteo sometimes is hard to connect to.Vollmey
  8. Hey guys, I have picked up a fatal error from something, and I can't figure it out. It seems to happen at diffrent times of the flight, but I have not been able to complete any flight more than a hour today. The only things I have downloaded are FSUPIC 2.94, and a few new POSKY 747-400's. I have gone back to 2.93 and deleted the 747's back nothing seems to work. Here is a screen shot of it, any help would be greatly appreciated.Vollmeyhttp://home.swbell.net/vollmerd/error.jpg
  9. Hey guys, I merged the 767-300 awhile back, but now I would like to get the 767-400 merged with lee's files. Can this be done??? Do you do it the same way as the 767-300?? Vollmey
  10. Just go into the PIC 767 copy the "Panel" folder and paste into the Posky 767. It should over write orginal panel folder, or you can just delete it first and then paste the PIC panel. Hope this helps!!!Vollmey
  11. I have had this happen. From what I have found, for me anyways, seems to be with the .air file or FDE. This happened to me with the 777 PSS panel and the Posky 777 FDE update. What I did was basically start over with the old .air file and re-updated the new FDE. This has happened twice with me and it seems to fix it. I don't know if FS2002 reads data every 30-60 seconds or what, but your right it's annoying!!!I hope that helps!Dave
  12. Hey guys:Picked up a weird problem that I have been trouble shooting since this morning.I did my bi-monthly blowing dust out of my PC's this morning, and when I plugged my FS2002 machine the CPU fan made a horrible noise, RPM's dropped to about 2000. So I shut it off, and restarted and no terrible noise this time but the CPU RPM's where about 4000 and climbing slowly. So I let it run for about 15 minutes and the RPM came back up to 5700-5800 where it usually is.I then thought I would do a flight. Everything started fine, but I have picked up this little glitch. Framerates will stay steady at about 12-17 on the ground and 25-30 in the air, but I have a second or so iof 1.5 to 2 on the frame rates, and this seems to happen about every 20 seconds. I have defragged, and tried different aircraft, panels etc... Same thing. What could be causing this???System Specs:AMD 1800+ @ 1.533Asus A7N266-E board512mb PC2100 Xtasy Geforce 2 Mx400 Video card40 gig hdAny help would be greatly appreciated, it's driving me nuts!!!Dave
  13. Hey John,This might be a dumb question, but I'll ask it anyways. I downloaded you NW FP's, how do I figure out what aircraft goes with each flightplan. I see that you give the required aircaft and tail #'s but do I have to go down and change all the AC#'s the go with the correct tail #??? I hope that makes sense!!! I got you SW FP's this morning and they work great, but SW only has one type of aircraft to install so that makes it easy. Thanks in advance!!Dave
  14. I ordered mine from the Avsim store last Thursday, had it by Tuesday.Dave
  15. In Cruise flight I am noticing that my cruise power is at about 95%, speed ok at .79 at FL350, fuel flow seems ok. If this is normal then no problems, just checking. My next thing is with the POSKY Ver3 767. On the right side of the plane near the tail their seems to be a intake that is always open. I thought maybe the APU intake??? but after shutting of the APU in flight that was not it. Any suggestion on how to close it would be appreciated. Other then those things, I am very impressed with the PIC panel, can't figure out what took me so long to purchase it. Oh well!!! :(Thanks in advance.Dave
