I run it on 2000 with no problems at all. Most stuff that will works with XP works with 2000, since XP was built off the 2000 NT platform. Enjoy the LDS 767, it's a great add on. :)

Geez guys, I've got all the PMDG, LDS, Eaglesoft, Dreamfleet 727,Ultimate Traffic and I come up with 9GB. How many add-ons do you guys have????

Hey Brian,How are you converting planes??? I've tried with no success and the website does not give you that much help in that area. And yes, they need a form really, really bad. But it's good to hear that they are going to update the software soon.

I've also thought about doing this also, but I use headsets on my main machine with no speakers. Everything comes through the headsets, which for me is good. So is there a way to get the push to talk through the main machine to the client PC running the headsets on the main machine?? Does that make sense, or do I need more coffee.

I've been using Flight 1's Flight Enviroment for a few weeks now and over all I like it very much. But overcast conditions and rain just kill, and I mean kill my frame rates. My question is what cloud settings work best for those overcast conditons?? I have played around with a few but can't seem to come up with a descent solution. When I am on top the frame rates are fine, it's just on the ground and raining.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't, but I'll mess around with it this weekend and see If you can interchange textures. The only one I really don't like is the 767's and one of the general aviation types, can't rememeber which one though. Everything else is satisfactory to me, but they are not to the level of Project AI or others out there, I'll admit that. :)

There in the Scenery folder, "My world Airports" which is the folder right next to the "Add on" Scenery folder. Open up your "My world Airports" folder and delete everything. Then copy and paste your contents of your "Add on" folder to the "My world Airports" folder.It's simple as that, and that should solve your problem. You should keep the "Add on" folder in case you need it for something. Now keep in mind FSlive has flightplans for planes that might not leave for a couple hrs. So say in the morning you might have some overun on your gates and planes might be sitting in the wrong place only because they have nowhere for them to go. If you load the data in the afternoon everything should set up right for you.

I am at work, but it's in the scenery folder, I think. FSlive creates it's own folder when you install the software, and it's in the folder where you usually install your AFCADS. Sorry I can't help right now, I can visulaize it but can't give you the exact name of the folder.

I am using Project AI's with FSlive. Everything works well and planes go where they need to park. But, I have lot of add-on scenery so it was not a choice which AFCADS to use, I just copied everything over to FSlive folder and deleted there stuff.

I am at work right now, but FSlive has it's own AFCADS. When you open up your scenery folder you will see a new FSlive folder for AFCADS. I just deleted all of there stuff and copy and pasted the stuff from your old folder into the FSlive folder. Keep your old folder though and move it to the desktop or burn it to a CD. I had both folders with tons of AFCAD stuff in each and I found that areas like Los Angeles where there is alot of traffic FS seems to try to load every AFCAD and determine which one to use. So keep all the data in the FSlive folder and backup the other in case you go back to UT or something else.As far as question #2, can't answer that. I don't really use that there tool stuff inside FS.#3. I agree that the documentation is limited a bit and I have not tried to add any liveries, all though I did hear a TED callsign the other night but I am not sure if it was a United Livery or a Ted livery. THe best thing to do in regards about questions is email them, they respond back very quick. Don't use the online form use there email address, or you can call them. Let me know what you find out, I think you will be very happy with FSlive though. I sure am.

I agree that a clean install is the best way of doing it, I just find it very interesting that there are programs that are able to move entire systems to other systems.Anyways, thanks for the info and time to reply. John I will look for your post.

Not that I am building a new machine or anything, but the one thing that always bums me out is installing the software back on the new machine. So as I am driving into work today I hear this ad from laplink that peeked my interest. Would this PC mover software by Laplink transfer all Flightsim stuff including add-ons?? Just wondering if anyone has used it or any thoughts of it in the future that it would make sense to use this type of program. I emailed them about that a week ago and they said they are working on it, it is a flightplan Data problem. It's weird though, I will have the problem, deleted the flight plan in the tools, then the aircraft will show up again at a normal flight level. Weird deal, it does not happen enough to me that I would not use the program though.

Something that I've done now for the last few months is download the Static FS weather then go ahead and clear your weather and start up AS. Seems to work for me, just a suggestion though.

Looking forward to it, not for flight sim stuff but just because I am a gadget freak. Ever since I gave up the Palm I've been bored when I travel, so hopefully this will keep me occupied. I think it will. :)

Can you run it via WideFS???? That's one thing I do like with AI seperation. I will give this one a try though.

I've only seen that happen once in about 10hrs. running it. This is Armando's program you are looking for though, I don't know of any other.

Gus,That is strange that you picked up the problem also, I noticed that a few days ago. I don't log my flights so it did not really bother me. It's not a PMDG problem though, because I have had there stuff on my system for months.

I personally think there are maybe less go arounds, I am not sure how that could be, but everything seems to flow very well.
