Pete S's post in REX Softclouds. was marked as the answerThanks everyone,
I finally got into the REX support forum, and they are looking into why I'm unable to install/upgrade my Soft Clouds.
Hopefully I'll have a resolution soon.

Pete S's post in Can't Install FSX + Acceleration was marked as the answerWell I guess nobody has an answer!
Never Mind 'cause I just built a new system:
Asus Z97-A/USB3.1
Water Cooled Intel 4790K @4.4
EVGA GFX980
Windows 10
FSX-SE
Everything running like a charm!

Pete S's post in Onboard Sound or Soundcard? was marked as the answerI think I will stick with the onboard sound, since it looks like a dedicated sound card is more of a vanity item, for an FSX System anyway.
Thanks everyone for your opinions.

Pete S's post in Unable to start FSX, dataset error was marked as the answerWell, 'slap me silly'. I guess I can answer my own question.
On a whim I decided to reinstall an "oldscenery.CFG", since I figured the VOR info has got be in the sceneries...... Started up FSX after a couple of minutes it rebuilt the scenery database and I'm back in business!
I have no idea how the "scenery.cfg" got screwed up, I didn't install any new sceneries.
It must be the old Computer Gremlins again!

Pete S's post in What happened to my airport terrain? was marked as the answerWell I finally figured what the culprit was that gave me all the Mesh problems.
It was FTX Vectors which is a great program, but since it is a Terrain Mesh+ program it can create a problem with some 3rd party airports. Fortunately there is an adjustment in the FTX Vectors Configurator Panel that allows to turn off AEC (Airport Elevation Corrections) at selected airports. That took care of that!
But I'm still glad I reinstalled FSX because it was really getting cluttered with endless addons, that seldom got used!
