Hi Billyes much like you would view it as a compliment when an Eaglesoft model turns up for download on their site.it makes no difference in my view and most developers view.there is right & there is wrong there is no maybeRegardsRick

Hi BillNot sure what you mean My copyright says the model cannot be uploaded.which they have done.my annoyance at this type of thief is when i kindly asked them to remove my file by posting on their they barred me from their forum.The model is covered by Horizon Simulations Copyright anyway as they had to agree to the copyright before they could download the model in the first place.RegardsRick

Hi Billyes mate it's still there.the link was their frontpage until about 4 hours ago when they edited the site.now you go to FSX when it asks you to choose then you will see STOLSeekers at the top right and it's at the bottom of that page when it opens.RegardsRick

Hi AllSomeone e mailed me to say my A-22 Foxbat model was uploaded to a group website.we need to name and shame these people but i will only show you the proof!http://www.simgameit.com/i asked them politely to remove it and the site owner almost instantly barred me from the forum and all those that posted in my supportI am totally sick of the of my stolen work turning up on Websites & Ebay discsJust wanted to warn other developers as your stuff will be here sooner or later and these guys don't follow the LawSorry if this is the wrong section guys & feel free to move it to the correct place if you need toRegardsRick

Hi JimNo Mate Vista decided that it would automatically resize the C: drive's partition so it would not boot.(good old Vista)GRRRRRRRRR!My FSX install was ok on another drive (all i did was rename the FSX install to FSXold then install FSX fresh then add sp1 etc.Then i renamed this to FSX Default and bought my original FSX back by renaming that to FSX . (ie: so the registry etc was happy with paths etc)It works fine with all my addons and development models & scenery.I am guessing thats why ASX won't reinstall ?hope this makes sense ?. ;o)RegardsRick

Hi Support teamASX & ASG have been working fine since release but i have gone back to Windows XP as Vista is not useable for me.Now the installer for ASX just bombs out with this error message.(see att screenshot of message)(I downloaded the installer again fresh but still same error.)Have removed all spyware as i usually do.Any idea what it means ?.RegardsRick ;o)

Hi Tim83 is a small amount ;o)My Viscount 800 folder has 176 liveries! ;o)Trouble is i'm getting flack both ways.some people want to paint some liveries and others are requesting liveries so i have given up and released the paintkit.I waited until i had made the Large Freight door modelas now all model shapes are covered so people will hopefully put the right paint on the right model.There where quite a few unofficial repaints released but mostly painted on the wrong airframes so now they can try agin with the correct ones ;o)RegardsRick

Hi JanneI have tested the sequence you said is wrong 6 times now and it works perfectly every time for me.Fraser does not give out his e mail address and you must use my support forum.Have you at least taken the time to read the postings on my support section ?.I cannot bring the whole thing here just for you mate.I'm guessing you have a key repeat problem as mentioned by someone on my site.RegardsRick

Hi TankerI have a really good check and think about framerate from day 1.The model has more polys than a lot of payware but has much better framerates.There are a lot of small parts missing from the VC but none that you would notice unless you where piloting a real one. Thanks for your comments. the main problem is that a lot of people have only downloaded the base pack and cant fly without the other 2 required packs.Some minor problems (some of which are noted in the readfirst.txt)and a couple of new ones from using the "L" key global light switch.But overall pretty good.I hope that people have a good read of the cockpit manual as it will cure Flameout problems i am seeing on most forums.Turn on fuel heaters & turn in engine de icing at temp below -5 oC& it will not flameout.the other one is people saying their engines blow up after 15 to 20 minutes.14,200 rpm is max continuous RPM (fly at max RPM and you will blow engines)RegardsRick

Hi GuysI'm posting this on any threads about my 748 model to help people avoid the problems if possible.Sorry for your hassle.Hi GuysJust a note on a couple of known Bugs that we missed.Do not use the uninstallers as they don't work (my fault,not beta tested installer/uninstaller) :((if you use the "L" key to switch on all lights you will see texture blurring abound the 748 as the panel uses a lot of custom lighting& FS seems to get very confused.Use the seperate light switches on the 2d panel or VC and no blurries will happen.Some SB Audigy users can experience a lock up with the 748 model.To fix it substitute the sounds from another model (My Argosy works).There seems to be a problem for some users with FSUIPC causing multi keypress events.To fix do not run the 748 model as your default flight.The startup procedure in the checklist & panel manual is missing the part about switching on the LP cocks as the rpm gauges start to rise.Otherwise pretty bug free for me ;o)the other problem is over 1000 peole downloaded from Avsim but never downloaded part 2 or part 3 so cannot fly the model.It isi thought clearly marked 1 of 3 etc but who reads anything ;o)RegardsRick

Hi MannyFiles are marked 1 of 3 , 2 of 3 etc.Download texture pack 1 & Texture pack 2 if you want to be able to fly.I split the file into 3 parts for dialup model users.Ideally you need all 3 files.Avsim file guys have ignored my request not to put the parts in different sections :((RegardsRick

Hi Janneyour not going to fly far with both propellers feathered and your alternators switched off.A yellow lamp in a Hawker siddeley Aircraft is a warning. ;o)Edit: yes i missed out the fuel cocks in the checklist and will correct it in a later update.The panel manual's pdf file should be correct.It seems everyone that has an Audigy soundcard are the ones with the blurries problem too ???? please note that this model does not like you using "L" to switch on all lights as some gauges are linked in the panel and is a good chance that is what is causding the blurries.All the lights have their own switches & if you press "L" you can see problems.I'm pretty sure that is mentioned in the readfirst.txt that you didn't read RegardsRick

Hi GuysStrange .Why didn't you use the installers ????.The people having the problems are the ones that did not use the installers.they are there so that they can be installed properly.I cannot remove the other control column.why on earth would you want to do that?.both columns are in the real cockpit and they both move at the same time.Please use the support forum i set up guys as i can't chase round the internet for problems.I would hide my e mail address if i didn't want to help.the other worrying thing is.Even after carefully writing each file title File 1 of 3 , 2 of 3 etc there are 3000 people that have no textures at all and will not be able to select the aircraft.I have asked Avsim to correct it but they have done nothing and still have 2 of the rquired 3 files in the wrong section.I honestly can't make it any more simple.apart from getting on a 747 and coming over to install it for you ;o)RegardsRick

Hi Guysyou seem to be 2 of about 5 people having this problem. :((There is a support forum for my 748 on http://cbfsim.orgplease can you send me your system specs so i can find out why.None of my beta team had this problem.Make sure you have render to texture turned on in FS9 graphics settings!.Please don't throw more than 1000 hours hard work away so fastdo you have a SB Audigy soundcard ?.
