Dear Friends and Pilots,after a long time without FS i want to start again. I lost parts of my mind and the whole FS stuff (PC, Software...) because after an accident i was in a hospital for over 8 month. I tell you this, because you could ask yourself what is he writing about.For me its a complete new start, so pleasse be patient if my questions make no sense for you :Batting Eyelashes: I own the Original Disk of FS9 and a couple of other FS9 software (Planes, Scenery, Addons, etc..) So, i dont want to upgrade to FSX.I have to buy a new computer. What is your suggestion abbout the PC System for FS9What MoBo, RAM, CPU, GPU, etc. do I need for a very good performance.Is WinXP better, or Win7?Please excuse my bad english, i am german and english is not my native language.Thank you for your answers :Praying: Wern

i use WinXP too, you will get no problems.Just be shure to set it to English (nothing else, no UK or US we XP users dont have this stuff, just English)

i will check diff. things today and report lateri also thought its the background noise, but as i said before it only happend after T/O, and only with LNAV and VNAV, not with the flaps up or the gear.i think when it comes from the background noise (witch is pretty silent, no wife around no little kids) it must happen with other commands as well - or?anyway i am shure to find the reason :(

Hi Bryan,maybe i made a mistake. My FO did not say LNAV instead of VNAV. He says both like this: " LNAV - VNAV - LNAV - VNAV - LNAV - VNAV" etc.The green text bar says "nav" - so the speech recognition seems to understand "nav". But i did not say anything.First i thought its the background noise, but if, it has to be happen all the time - or?, but its only after T/O.All other works nearly 100% every phrase is recognised and all flows are working perfect. no mistunderstandings - nothing, only this LNAV - VNAV - LNAV....Excuse my bad english, it would be easier in german for me :( School is gone for over 30 years now. But i try :(

Hi Bryan,first off all - you are the best !!!Wonderful products - superb support :( Flightsimming is much more better since you releasd your first product.Pls confirm that this is no little buck:sometimes (1 from 3), after take off, my FO toggles between LNAV/VNAV, LNAV/VNAV.... Hi Bryan - Good morning :-),as i told you in an earlier post, i really love the atr version of fs2crew. Its (for me) the best add on i ever bought, and i am simming for more than 9 years now, and bought a lot of stupid addons :-)Pls tell me, when i am wrong, but i remember, i your manual you are writting, that when your are flying online and connected with SB the FO doesnt ask for the startup clearance. Well i am flying with IVAO and using IVAP instead of SB. But with IVAP the FO still asks for the clearance. So is it only with SB (whitch i can`t test) or am i doing something wrong?I wish you a very nice day !!
