  1. 350 X 650 also works. Change in both places
  2. Thanks. That works nicely. Although you have to do it every time you load the plane. Other than that, it's great. Do you by chance know the window size numbers that we can edit the panel CFG's with? P.S. I'm using a 23" monitor. Probably affecting things, but the graphics are awesome.
  3. Hey Joe. Thanks for the video. I would have never thought to do that. Much appreciated for posting this. Bill
  4. Hi. Had a look around the forum, but didn't find a good answer for my question. did find a few things to check though. This specifically references turbroprop engines. I have a B1900D that I fly. It's static thrust rating in the aircraft .cfg file is 150. If I go look up B1900D technical specs, I see a PT6 engine with 1279 shp (Shaft Horsepower) rated at 954kW takeoff thrust. Have looked for a good technical spec conversion for Shp or kW to lbs/ thrust but have not found a good one. Can anybody converrt the real PT6 engine specs into a real value for the static thrust rating in the .cfg file? In comparing aircraft the static thrust rating of the default Beech King Air is 158. The BAE ATP is 2200 which is what I'm thinking the B1900D should be close to. I can only get 220 knots out of my 1900D at most. The real specs say I should get over 300. So, I'm guessing something is goofy with the static thrust number. Appreciate any input you have. Bill
  5. Hi all. Been flying flight sim for a long time. Really enjoy the work everybody does on all the neat aircrfat you all develop for us. Some of them are quite challenging to fly.I have a small odd problem. Looked around on the forumns, can't find anything on it. Tried all kinds of tricks but nothing seems to work. My "fleet" is several hundred aircraft. The other day, I downloaded a Cheyenne and the Montana Air Chieftan by Fred Choate. The Cheyenne shows up just fine. The Chieftian will not. Aircraft, Select Aircraft, Piper. No Chieftan. J-3 Cub is there, Cheyenee is there, Seneca V is there, but not Chieftan. Any idea why it won't show up? Checked spelling, placement, everything I can possibly think of. *.AIR file is present and spelled right. Model reference is correct. Tried every trick I could think of. Aircraft.CFG file looks like this.[fltsim.0]title=Piper PA-31 Chieftian Montana Airsim=Chieftianmodel=panel=sound=texture=kb_checklists=atc_id_color=0xffffffffffatc_id=I-MACui_manufacturer=Piperui_type="Chieftian"ui_variation="Montana Air Livery"[General]atc_type=Piperatc_model= Chieftaneditable=1And then the rest of the other flight stuff.Any ideas? Kind of stumped on this one. Also, the default Piper Cherokee 180 doesn't show up either. Everything else does. Thanks,Bill
  6. HI all. I too popped over to hovercontrol and have downloaded a couple helis off their site as well as AVSIM.The HC412's the 412's and the 212's have a stuck generator problem. I've added generator switches to the panel to see if that does anything. Nope. Tried their slew mode fix, but that doesn't work either.anybody out there know how to fix the stuck generator on the Bell 212's and 412's? They're really fun to fly but really hard with no instruments. Thanks,[email protected]
  7. Hi all. Got a new CYBORG X yostick the other day. Very fun. Not as good as a yoke setup, but it works. Cyborg X has independent throttle operation capability. Searched forumns on this topic and nothing found.decouple throttles. Disconnect throttles. Cyborg X joystick, etc. Tried clicking on the throttles but that didn't do much. If operating CYBORG throttle independently, only left one makes throttles move, but both move together. Any tips/tricks how to setup independent throttle operation? Surely our yoke / users have something on the subject. Thanks, Bill
  8. Hi Marco. Thanks for taking the time to write. yes, I am still interested in Corregidor scenery. The only thing I had was the old FS2002 scenery. It doesn't work in FS9 though. If you need some pictures I could dig around on the internet and see what I can find. If you wish to contact direct, you [email protected]. Be sure to specify Corregidor in the subject line. Thanks much,Bill
  9. Hi all. I have the FS2002 loaded up in the Addon Scenery folder and added underneath the scenery folders. It's not recognizing it.yes, I did restart Fsim after adding the area.Bill
  10. Greetings. Thanks for the note.I have tried a couple and have gotten them to the work. Guess I could give the old one a try and see what happens. Wasn't sure how the new BGL files worked or if they were compatible. Thanks much,Bill
  11. Hi all. This is for all you scenery designers out there.I've been flying around the world for over 3 years now and stopping in every country along the way. It's an ambitious project, and a LOT of fun.My current location is Brunei headed for the Phillipines. When I did this trip in FS2002, there was scenery out for Corregidor Island. I don't see any for FS9/2004.So, I'm putting out a request for scenery of Corregidor Island. Anybody up for this?I want to say thanks to everybody who has put together scenery for Guadalcanal, the Solomons, Kiribati/Gilberts, Tinian, Saipan, and all the other WWII Pacific Islands. It's been an inspiration on my trip and I've greatly enjoyed it. Nice job also to whoever did the island of Tuvalu. Great Coral runway. :)Many thanks. Expect to be in Manila in a couple of weeks. :)Bill Conway
