  1. HiIt put the BAT in the folder I installed it into - have just done a two hourish flight and worked fine - still not sure of the point though!regardsSimonBrightonUK
  2. OpaI've just downloaded and it does work but only tested quickly. Set fps to unlimited in FS9Click FPS_Limiter_GUI.jar not the .exe. GUI opens navigate to and select fs9.exe; this produces BAT file. Use the BAT file to start FS9.It does limit the FPS but I'm not sure what the point of it is......RegardsSimonBrighton UK
  3. Hi There Although I haven't "flown" it much yet, the performance of the Caranedo Arrow is about right, I'm just finishing off a complex conversion on a well used 1979 Arrow IV (<> 4 hrs only) and we get about 130 Kts at 23" and 2400 rpm which is what I'm getting in FS9 - leaned to peak power even at 2-3000 feet. 16" and 2400 rpm clean gives around 100 Kts and 19" and 2400 gear down gives the same - these are the figures we use and they are also close in FS9.The performance quoted above is probably TAS for a Turbo Arrow at altitude. A couple of things: Take off - you should be able to rotate at around 65-70 kts not 80+ in the model - not enough elevator authority? The real one does need a fair "tug" on the wheel to get it off though.Descent with flap at 75-80 kts seems a bit fast - I notice the flaps don't extend visually beyond about 15 degrees where the real max is 40 from memory. Great visual model though and with a few tweaks would be a very good addition for FS9.regardsSimonBrighton UK

  5. Hello I wonder if someone with more PC technical knowledge than me could answer this?Having tried most of the hardware and FS9 tweaks my system is running FS9 quite well but I still get the occasional stutter and frame rate problems. I know that FS9 is supposed to be CPU intensive but task manager shows that the cpu usage rarely goes above 60% and is normally around 50%. Is it safe to assume that if there is a bottleneck in the system it is the graphics card? Do you think a new card would help? I've tried over clocking the existing card but can't really see any difference! So would a new card be much better? I'd like to stay with a NVidia based card and was thinking of the newish Geforce 6800GS AGP - no PCI -express on the board.Systems specs are P4 3.0 Ghz HT; Asus P4C800 Deluxe 800 FSB; 2 GB PC3200 RAM; 80GB 7.2K HDD and Abit FX5600 128MB graphics card. FS9.1, FSAutostart, loads of add-ons - UK VFR etc etc etc!!The question really is would the Geforce 6800GS improve things at all?RegardsSimonBrighton UK
