  1. I have the baton CYXT - CYZF in the RR SOH Hornet.. Lets DO THIS!!!!!
  2. Dan, not to worry, and your opinion does matter. This is the 1st year I'm serving on the executive committee for the race however I have helped them for the past couple years, your input is important and we do try to adapt to fit the situation and what people want. Obviously not everyone has the same opinion so pleasing everyone is not possible but because we use the same world with the same ~24,000ish airports it can be a challenge to change it up each year. The limits on aircraft are usually to prevent the race becoming a 1 or 2 airplane race. The idea is to get the teams to use different aircraft to fit the various needs of each leg, obviously not every aircraft is great on every type of leg given weather, distance, time, terrain, airport runway length and so on. Is it a perfect system, maybe, maybe not, however after the race has concluded we will take as much feedback as possible as many do enjoy this race and would like it to continue each year although the last couple years the race has struggled. Somiller, I saw your post just as I was writing this. P3D is relatively new and required major changes to allow into the race (Despite it being an offshoot of FSX). Some of the aircraft that are FSX compatible are P3D compatible, I tested a couple of them a couple years ago on P3D version 2.4 however I do not know about P3D v3. What we need is a list of P3D compatible aircraft that are race competitive. We try not to make it so that one simulator has an advantage over another as much as is possible. The whitelist may say FS9 or FSX however we have found that a large majority of the FS9 aircraft work in FSX albeit with some tweaking usually to textures and panels however I do not know about P3D. What we need is someone to go through the current whitelist and state if they work in P3D or not and then submit suggestions for P3D aircraft and test them to get us a complete list. Thanks,
  3. +1 to this, you should see my email Good work Klas digging into it, keeps us thinking..
  4. The RTWR Special Rules are now available on the RTWR website under Rules. http://www.fsrtwrace.com The routing details will be posted next week. Thank you,
  5. Well it looks like the maintenance has been postponed so we can use the avsim official forums
  6. Avsim have the worst timing.. Okay, its not a problem, we have a backup for this very reason. The fsrtwrace official forums are used when teams individual forums are down. You can find it here: https://www.fsrtwrace.com/forum Please make sure you register. I will setup a private subforum there to discuss private matters as this site will be fully down. What the procedure will be Dan is either 1 of 2 options. We can : Start the race here on AVSIM's forums, then when the forums go down, we switch to the official forums for posting then switch back when the site comes back Do ALL posts on the official forums and leave AVSIM's alone except for PIREPS and other posts to keep the Avsim crowd informed. We'll have to wait and see what other members on the team think..
  7. Baton free at MROC http://fs-duenna.com/flights/logs/tWA1MHV6zgAGJZMkg4ohh1GWs.txt
  8. Wingman down safe at MG13 http://fs-duenna.com/flights/logs/0BpCZWCdDsYok5uKjDpcwoaHLRE.txt
  9. I swear Roman, I think you fly the bearcat more then anyone else ever..
  10. Dan, do you not see this at the bottom of the reply window? Attach Files is where you can attach your text file. My apologies guys for taking up the practice thread. Continue on with your practice..
  11. DC, you made it!!! It would be a good backup since it seems most have decided to use joinFS.. After the race, yeah, take it down as I'm sure its one hell of a mess.
  12. Has anyone heard from DC at all recently, to see if his VPN is even going to be up?
  13. Note on the "New Duenna".. It was to fix a FS9 problem MadDog was having over at SOH, you should not see any difference at all.
  14. Okay race fans, Lets get an official number of racers that will be available this year. We need to know if we will have enough pilots to field a proper team. The race is going to start on the evening of the 17th (Callsign) Eamonn (Flightsim Version) FSX Steam Edition (Experience in Flightsim) All but rotorcraft, RTW racer for almost as long as the RTW been around (Timezone +/- UTC) UTC -4 (Moncton, NB, Canada)
  15. Thats right to minimums Jeff, if you were on the ILS 10, DH was 200 AGL and you were right there in that last picture. Although I see a slight tailwind, tisk tisk.
  16. Roman, i see you are using the newest duenna, unfortunately again i wont be able to push it out for the race, I can't guarantee i can iron out all problems in the next 30ish days. I've been thinking to force push it out after the race and then see what problems people have when using it for smaller events. Just a thought.
  17. Roman, are we thinking to use this app for the race? or sticking with current methods?
  18. That is it yes but it may be updated slightly before raceday as someone at SOH is having an issue with it and FS9.
  19. My apologies but the duenna is available to download. Its the same version as last year. The newest version hasn't had enough testing yet unfortunately.
