  1. Indeed I'm using a flyable ship made by Mitsuya@Hamaguchi(hama) and it is named "Le France.zip" with added painting for SS-Norway. How can I modify or change the cfg file? Greetz Jive1 - Belgium
  2. Hey! I'm still experimenting with the Afcad and I made e.g. a taxiway according to the drawing above. No good result up to now, but a new problem arose. Look at the picture... ( url= http://www.davidsfondswillebroek.be/Norway.jpg ) The ships that I'm playing with is twice on the picture, once as my personal ship ( right in front ) and once as the AI ship ( left behind ). Now, that AI ship always is like you can see here, with the 'boeg' high, and the back at normal height. Furthermore, even with a Afcad which is exactly conform to the drawing above, only adapted to the way the ships must go, and nothing moves as it should according to my flightplan, which is as follows: AC#1,NORWAY,80%,24Hr,VFR,09:56:99,10:11:22,000,F,0001,ENVO,14:59;39,15:14:46,000,F,0001,ENVO What could be the origin of the behavior of the ship? ( ENVO is the harbor that I use near to ENOV in Norway ) Greetz Jive1 - Belgium
  3. Thank you, Mebull! Meanwhile I checked already myself Holger's files, and I was already doeing experiments with his suggestions. I'm not finished yet.... I'll wait and see what that gives... Greetz Jive1 - Belgium
  4. Very good, Golden Rocket, that is more or less the same as what I did with both Afcad 221 and with AFX. I use both programs, and most I do with AFX, sometimes, like here making the runway not wider than 0.4ft, I do with Afcad221. But what I want to do is, making the ship going from one harbor to another harbor, let it stay there for e.g. one night, and then let it return the next day. So I need two places where the ship will automatically start and arrive one day after the other. Your Afcad model does not show this. The ship apparently starts and arrivés at the same place. Above that, there is the fact of writing the fligthplan for the AI ship. How do I have to compose and write the plan? I guess it will be almost identical to a flightplan of whatever aircraft? In my specific case, I want e.g. let the "Le France" start in Le Havre and arrive in Marseille both in France. So the ship must make a tour around Spain from north of France to south of France... Is that possible? Regards Jive1 - Belgium
  5. Hey! How to make afcads for AI ships, that is what I'm trying to find out. I've seen a video on Toutube and things are not clear to me....I try to follow what is explained there, but it does not work here in my FS9 on a Win7 pc... Is there any specialist who knows what is important and what should be taken care of when making the afcads? Greetz Jive1

    BN2 AI

Hey! Indeed, they are all in one aircraft folder, and hence with the same mdl file. And on the airport are more than 3 parking spots and also larger parking spots, even good for heavy cargo. Greetz Jive1

    BN2 AI

Hey! I knew that usually whit disappearing AI-aircraft there mighth be insufficient parking spots on the airport, but this was'nt the case. So I made a special Flight plan with three similar aircraft, of which one is the bad one that disappears, whereas the other two are not disappearing at all. I made the flightplan with all three of them taking of al the same airport, with 1 minute the one after the other, all three of them in direction to the same airport. When they take off I'm myselt at the same airport and watch them to see them taking off. Ok, no problem. When they are airborn I go myself to the destination airport and wait and see what happens; And I see them coming all three together flying at a few hundred feet away from eachother. Indeed, two of them do a normal landing, and the third one, always the same bad aircraft, makes a landing, which seems to be normal in so far that, when the aircraft is on the runway and starts decreasing speed, at a certain moment, when speed might be somewhere around 40 knots... whoops!.. It disappears. After that I go and watch the two other aircraft and they are each on a parking spot. But nothing to see of the third aircraft. After that i watched the aircraft.cfg file, and except of certain typical data like title, texture,atc_id and a few other data, all is the same for the three aircraft. When I go and watch the texture files, they have exactly the same amount of files en don't show differences apart from the outside paintings. I've been bussy for almost two days watching the doing differen landings, and also to search for any difference between the bad one and the other two good working aircraft, but I found nothing. I can send the aicrcaft file, as well asthe flightplan and the airport Afcad to whom might be interested to see this strange phenomenon, and possibly tell me a good help to avoid the disappearing aircraft. 8. Hey! I have a older BN2 flying as an AI in my FS9 system ( bn2-a_fea.zip ). I have 3 textures for the same aircraft, all 3 of them are old Sabena Textures ( sn_bn2.zip ). One of the 3 aircraft disappears after each landing, even on the same airport where the 2 other aicraft make a normal landing and taxi to the parking spot. I've checked out all characteristics possibel, and everything looks the same to me, whereas though that one aircraft every time again disappears immediately after landing when the brakes seem to make the aircraft stop completely still on the runway... Strange!... Note that I perpared a special parking spot for the BN2 with correct diameter and correct parking codes etc. I don't understand what could be the reason why this happens. Somebody to help me? Greetz Jive1 Belgium
  9. Hey! I've tried some of the advises, but the AA-1 has different dimensiosn and weight from the AA-5, so I had to correct the [lights] and the [contact points] as well. I had some difficulties in making that, and finally took a aif-file of another aircraft, a Piper Archer and using that one all was OK. That was the easiest way of doing. Regards Jive1
  10. Hey! Thank you all for the information! First let me say, I live in Belgium, I love belgian aircraft because I want to see as much as possible various types in my belgian sceneries indeed, and I meant an AA1-C, of which I found a painting with the Belgian colors and registering, so I had to search for the original of that painting, and then I found a flyable model and modified it to an AI aircraft. It's the Grumman AA1-C T-Cat by Ron Watson, for which I had the belgian painting, and that combination hangs over backwards when taxiing before take off and after landing. The model in the "rfai_various_ai_aircraft.zip" is different, and I can't use it with my belgian paainting, so I'm very sorry.... Greetz Jive1
  11. Hey! I've got a AI Grumman American, I adapted things for AI-use, and that always, when starting it's AI flight, as soon as it is, still on the ground, in movement it starts hanging backwards dragging the tail over the ground an the nosewheel up above the ground. I know some settings in the aircraft.cfg file need to be corrected, but I don't know what exactly I have to modify. Please, can somebody help me? Greetz Jive1
  12. Hey! Tom, Thanks for your help! I did not remeber that some time ago I already downloaded the AI-file with B377, so the problem is solved with the air-file of your B377. Thank you! Jive1
  13. Hey! I have a B377 Pan American Super Stratocruser that I modified for West AfricanCargo AI flight, i.e. I want it to fly an AI flight and made the flightplan myself. Now the aircraft does not want to follow the right course, i.e. it goes from one place to the other, but does never schange direction, only height and speed change according the needs, but not the direction. I can see that the aircraft in it's aircraft.cfg file has 'autopilot_available=1' and 'flight_director_available=0'. Maybe this latter could be the reason why the aircraft doen never follow the planned directions.... Can somebody explain me why this is, and how to modify things as to have the aircraft flying the right directions.... Greetz Jive1 Belgium
  14. Why is the opening file changed?

  15. Hey! I fly FS9 since it came out, and have lots of aircraft. I have also the PMDG 737-700NG. With all tutorials I've found on the flightsim intenet I don't succeed at all in starting up that aicraft from cold and dark to take off to land and back to cold and dark, and well in accordance with all that is told and explained in these various tutorials . Is it really possible, that is what I wonder, setting up everything in that aircraft that should be done in order to do a perfect startup and all the rest according to the rules? I didnt' find no two tutorials that follow the same setup order, all are somewhat different, and in many of these tutorials things just don't work as one expects they should do.... Can anybody indicate me where to find a correct and complete tutorial for the PMDG 737-700NG? Greetz Jive1
  16. Hey! I have the previous PMDG 737NG in FS9, and the aircraft is OK, it flies fine in FS9. I wonder... Working with CDU in PMDG 737NG, should that be completely the same as with 737NGX? What I want to know is.... Using Tutorial #1 of PMDG 737NGX and following the instructions as given there gives me problems with my PMDG 737NG: the commands as explained in the tutorial do not give the expected results in my PMDG 737NG in FS9. Where can i find on the internet a tutorial for working with CDU of PMDG 737NG in FS9 from cold and dark to take off to land and back to cold and dark? Greetz Jive1
  17. Hey! Is this SU2 for PMDG still downloadable? Is there anybody who can tell me where to look for? Greetz Jive1
  18. Hey! No it is'nt....It is made by Hannes von der Heide... Greetz Jive1
  19. Hey! I have a few aircraft Dornier and for each of them my FS9 system tells me that it cannot load the Do27.GAU. I have been looking after such a gau file, and found one of another date than the one thet I have, but even this new file can not be loaded eather. Can anybody tell me wehre to find a correct Do27.GAU file for FS9? Greetz Jive1
  20. Hey! Thank you! Olli4740, I see now that, according to the README which is together with SU3, the update SU3 is not needed here in my situation, because I have already Version 1.3 of PMDG 737NG, whereas SU3 is only needed if the downloadversion of PMDG 737 is only 1.2. So thank you for the information.... Everything is fine and clear now to me! Greetz Jive1
  21. Hey! Yes, I thought also it could mean a "Service Update", but I think in fact that it should be something else....If .. Then my question is: wich SU3 ?... Which Service Update 3 did he mean?.... Windows? Which version? .... PMDG 737NG?... Is there a first and a second and a third update? Where can I find these?... No, in fact I think it must mean something else..... Maybe Timothy himself cab help me, if at least he might read may question here???? Regards and thanks for aa try. Jive1
  22. Hey! On Page 7 Timothy says that we need The PMDG 737 - The next Generation Add-on with SU3. What does that mean, 'SU3'?... I'm dutch speaking and cannot undertsand all the american/english abbreviations, so please tell me somebody what a SU3 is..... Greetz Jive1
  23. Problem solved! I uninstalled PMDG and re-installed, and now everything is OK. Possibly an error when installing the first time.... Greetz jive1
  24. Hey! I'm new in PMDG.... I used to have already some years ago an older version PMDG 737NG for FS2004, and I took it up now again and installed same, and tried to start cold and dark. Started with the Cessna, only Avionics master switch on, changed to PMDG 737 and started the procedure as explained above. Unfortunately I did even not succeed in switching on Battery. When I touch the overhead screen with the mouse, nothing moves, no little hand shows up, and there is nothing that I can switch nor change.... What could I have done wrong, so that it does not want to work? Jive1
