Hi Adam, I- PMDG MD -11 FLEX data finished.
Hi Ken, I forwarded your question to Ian Webber, the author of Utopia. The maximum AT at 334 feet altitude under favorable conditions is 69C. I think I know why this is but I don- PMDG MD -11 FLEX data finished.
Please do so! Don't even bother: in FS all runways are perfectly level!- PMDG MD -11 FLEX data finished.
Correct!24 degrees Celsius, 1006 millibar, altitude 334 feet = density altitude 1655 feet.24 degrees Fahrenheit, 1006 millibar, altitude 334 feet = density altitude -1790 feet.In both cases AT would still be 67C as this is the maximum AT for this altitude at these conditions.- PMDG MD -11 FLEX data finished.
Hi Eric, I recreated your scenario and performed the take-off myself.Your calculation of AT was right, according to the chart and Utopia 67C is correct.I loaded my plane with 1/3 pax and 72.500 lbs of fuel. TOGW was 396.724 lbs. Calculated V-speeds were: V1 134, Vr 142 & V2 159 knots. Thrust 100.9 and trim 5.0.I- PMDG MD -11 FLEX data finished.
Thank you guys! Well, the answer is- PMDG MD-11 performance data for FSBuild
Well, after flex data I've begun tweaking the performance data for FSBuild. Luckily all responses from people, who requested and used the data, are positive. However, I'm not completely satisfied yet. The parts I've paid most attention to thus far are also the parts that work best. These are: cruise and optimum flight levels. The other parts, climb and descent are not yet functioning perfectly. The climb fase uses too much fuel and the descent part not enough (according to FSBuild that is). Luckily for me they kind of eliminate each other, so in the end all is rather well. But that is not how it's supposed to be. As of now the situation is bit like this (just an example): FSBuild / PMDG Take-off 58500 / 58500 lbs climb pred. 14900 / 10600 lbs difference - 4300 lbs TOC 43600 / 47900 lbs cruise pred. 19300 / 18200 lbs difference - 1100 lbs TOD 24300 / 29700 lbs descent pred. 1600 / 3800 lbs difference + 2200 lbs Landing 22700 / 25900 lbs So, the overall difference is 3200 lbs (sometimes less). Not too bad I guess. The cruise part is the easiest to correct. Climb and descent are more difficult (as I explained in the opening post). As of yesterday I've begun doing some test take-offs at different TOGW (approximately 10) and instead of looking for differences, this time I'll be looking for similarities (contrary to what I thought those similarities really exist). In the mean time you could help me by answering some questions: 1. What's your average TOGW with what version? MD-11(F)GE or MD-11(F)PW? 2. What's your average payload? 1/3, 2/3 or full? 3. How much fuel do you normally plan to land with (alternate not included)? The more information you give, the more exact the file will be! Thanks,- PMDG MD -11 FLEX data finished.

- 737 vs 747/MD-11
Hi Tom,Go ahead and buy, the PMDG 737NG is still the way to go, even after all those years!Shows how quality keeps its value.- Flightplan format?
Hej,Why don't you try asking Ernie Alston from FSBuild! His program exports flight plans to a lot of different add-ons (among which PMDG) so I'm pretty sure he can help.http://www.fsbuild.com/forum/- PMDG MD -11 FLEX data finished.
