You would think that when an aircraft on a runway is cleared for a take off or an aircraft is within 30 seconds of touchdown that all taxiways attached to that runway would at the least simply have an automatic or controller controlled traffic light system to prevent taxing aircraft entering the runway enviroment when not cleared to do so - duh, am no aviation expert but you would think some kind of technology could support a pilots decision to enter/cross a runway - Big RED Lights means don't go out there bloody great jet coming your way, Big GREEN Lights mean okay dokey folks safe to cross thanks for following the green cross code - seems to work for children, well most of the time.Roger McNeillEGPF Scotland

HiI seem to be getting an ATIS transmitted message from FSX and a message on weather from Radar Contact running at the same time - I know this must be down to me - but can anyone point me to what is going wrong here - assuming this is not right. I do have ASE installed but it has not been used since I got Radar contact so I dont think the problem is there. FSUIPC is 4.28.Happening when I try and follow the 1st tutorial KDSM to KORD.Thanks for help or pointers on this issue.Roger McNeill

HiI have followed the instructions for registering but I have received the following rather confusing email in response - I do not understand what is wrong with what I sent as I simply copied the required information and sent as requested in the format required...There were alpha characters before the first !, which is an invalid product id. There is no need to provide additional information in these key requestsIn an effort to streamline the Key Generating process, I request that your Request be in the following format: nnnnnnnnn ! Firstname ! Lastname Where nnnnnnnnn is the Product ID from the registration screen, including the minus sign (-) if there is one. There may be a minus sign in front of the number. After trying to re-install I now get an error c:program files\ASA\Images\windarrowsliver.png now appears - Active Sky X seems to work okay but evolution has this issue.Can anyone advise.Regards Roger

Hi GuysI know I have missed something simple here so would appreciate a quick pointer in the right direction, have been away from the J41 for a while but been tempted back by the FS2 crew voice software so wanted to rerun the tutorial to get comfortable with procedures but am struggling to get an alignment [i think] on the gyros - ie no data appears on the EADI or EHSI although they are powered.Sorry guys - but this is driving me crazy.Roger McNeillEGPF

I used to have the whole Internet security suite from symantec installed - deleted it a few weeks back and replaced it with FSecure, but I am wondering now if there are maybe some bits left over from Symantec, as I am def having a few unusual probs with the XP OS in general - may now be time for a complete re-format and start again from scratch, as much as I hate the thought of the hassle involved.Using your products certainly brings a new level of truly stunning simming experience, so a wee personal thanks for all yours and the teams efforts in providing the 737 and Beech 1900 in my case.Thanks again.Roger - EGPF - Scotland.

Thanks JohnGot me stumped as well - as during live flight it is very smooth - no noticeable pauses at all, wondering if it could be a virus issue or some kind of memory hogging program within XP.Not a major issue for flying of course but I am curious to understand what may be going on here.Have had a problem with XP running programs not showing on the taskbar, ie I can only access them using alt tab once they have been minimised so a re-install of xp might be required, but will wait and see if anyone else has any suggestions.Cheers RogerEGPF - Scotland

Hi all,Notice distinct pauses or stutters <2 to 3 secs> whenever using FS9 replay - daytime or nightime and zoomed close or far and weather active or turned off - in normal 2d cockpit mode I am getting average of 20fps with pmdg 737 - which seems to present a fairly smooth environment while flying- thats even with most FS9 settings maxed out I have tried the recommended FS9 config file settings - but no change to the replay pauses. My hardware is reasonable - P4 3GHz / 1Gb Ram / ATI 9600 256 video card.Anyone got any ideas ?Use anti virus but have tried with it disabled and no difference.Am at a loss to understand thisCheers RogerEGPF
