  1. Thanks for the pictures. Great job !! I love the Iberia livery. Too bad 744 are gone now from Iberia :( . Let's hope they buy the new 747-8, though I doubt it since it seems they want to have an all Airbus fleet :-roll Regards

Hola y saludos a todos. Nos veremos por aquí de vez en cuando.Salu2
  3. >I don't like how the "Rollers" look.>>They don't seem turbofans, they have an old turbojet aspect. >>I always fly the 744 with the GEs under the wings.>Jose LuisI can not agree more with you. I've never liked how the RR look in the 747. They seem too small and simple to me. For me the best ones are the GE but the PW are also fine. I'm talking in terms of "how they look" because I don't know and I don't think I would be able to tell the difference in perfomaces between the three.Regards.
  4. >I am 45, and I am an architect too. Some years ago I also>wanted to go into ATC, but they (AENA) had an age limit of 28,>so it wasn't possible. Hi Jose Luis. The age limit is not restrictive. In fact, I know there are some students with more than 30, and there is one with 38 that passed the 2004 "Convocatoria". It's true that if you are older than 28 makes it more difficult, but not impossible, so I will keep trying.Regards
  5. Hi.34, Architec but now trying to become an ATC in Spain.Enought FS hours to keep my wife happy :-bigangel. Right now learning to fly the Level-D 767.Regards
  6. Well I think I'm more with the option 1, because I just fly in a few airports (LEMD is were I live and that's the airport I use more often)Thank you very much for your helpRegards
  7. First of all thanks for your help. So what do you think is the best way to update the database? Install your's first and then the all-in-one? Or is just I thing that I have to try and test to see whitch one is up-to-date? About the ILS frequency, may be I said it wrong. What I wanted to say is that the ILS frequency was wright for the 33R but not the waypoints for the approach. Thanks again.
  8. I have downloaded cycle 608 for the level-d and I think there is a problema with the terminal procedures for LEMD. There is no ILS for runway 33L and I can only select ILS for runway 33R. But this last one also seems to be wrong because when I review the approach in the plan mode the waypoints are for the 33L but the ILS frequency is for the 33R. Because of that problem I downloaded the SID/STAR All-in-one file from navdata and after installing it all seems to be OK.I'm not really and expert so I might be wrong, but that's what happened to me.
  9. >I flew that one for real yesterday, its a lovely aircraft, the>oldest 400 we have, its has a realy nice bedded in feeling in>the controls,a real pleasure to hand fly.>I must get that download.>cheers>Jon I'm looking forward to fly in that plane again like I did this summer, so please let me know when you fly it again, to buy the tickets :-hah
  10. >Hi all,>>I really like this Virgin variation on the rear fuselage. Has>anyone done it, or does anyone intend to do it?>>http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1002902/L/>>PaulYes, you can download it from the avsim library. Here is the link: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=73167

    >>>Presently on my rig, I have selected a nice Fuchsia color,>so>>it stands out ;-) But to satisfy Jon, we can make it>Lavender>>or Lulaki, or whatever your heart desires ;-).>>Juan,>>:-) No, I was just replying to Lefteris`s posting which was>above your`s asking what colour I wanted the MCP lights, his>initials are LK.>>Cheers>Jon>Hahaha !!! what a confusion !!! :-hmmm sorry. And about the flight, please next time I fly with Virgin you could tell the flight attendant to let me go into the cockpit :-) because she didn't allow me :-( (I know it's not permited in flight but it would have been nice to go up there after the flight, like I did in the flight from Madrid to London)

    >I think they are a very light bluey grey colour if my memory>is correct. We only have the one aircraft in our fleet (G-VROC)> which has the digital MCP/ISFD but is a real joy to use as>the numbers don`t bounce around like on the analouge MCP so>you can read the numbers instantly>>regards>JonHi Jon, Do you fly the 747-400 for Virgin Atlantic? I went this summer to Miami with Virgin, so maybe I flew with you. :D

    >Here you'll find both High and Low enroute charts that cover>pretty much any place you might care to fly to. Just scroll>down to the Enroute Charts section and select the desired>region. Enjoy.>>Victor>>https://164.214.2.62/products/digitalaero/index.cfm>>>http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpgI've been checking there and you can find enroute charts for all over the world but US. It's says this about it:"NOTICE: The U.S. & Alaska IFR Enroute Low & High Altitude Charts are an FAA/NACO Product and not currently available in PDF format"I guess that means that those charts are not free...:-(
  15. Sending....:-)One more thing about the size of the file. The file is 33 MB but when I send the file attached in the mail, the mail itself is 43 MB. I dont know why but that's what I see in the properties.
