  2. Hi All,Climbing out of Berlin Tegel yesterday on a grey damp day, we punched through the overcast cloud to the wonderful sights of being in between antoher cloud layer and seeing only cloud above and beyond, amazing sights. Then continued to climb to punch through the final overcat layer to brilliant sunshine and a blanket of white below with some light cirrus on high. Amazing sights and feeling. How can this be mimicked in FS2004? I have AS6.5 and no matter how hard I try with visibility limits and the like, always seem to be able to see the ground....Any help to replicate something similar to my RW journey? Thanks,Graham
  3. Thanks Fred. Has been converted and uploaded to Avsim.Regards,Graham
  4. Hi Martin,It is purely the F version. I can convert the Passenger version if there is one. All I would need is the painters permission.Regards,Graham
  5. Hi Martin,I have done a conversion of the existing paint that was done by Shaddy Fouad at Martinair Virtual. If he is ok with it am happy to pass them on.Regards,Graham
  6. Hi Pete,I found my problem, I looked at the Alpha Channels and they were all wrong! Have managed to sort them now and it works a treat. Thanks for the help.Graham
  7. Hi Pete,I have managted that now using Imagetool. The only issue I am having now is when the lights are turned on the textures go funny. Any advice you can offer?Basically, the day ones are fine, but think I might be losing a layer somehow during my process. Thanks,Graham
  8. Hi,I have tried to convert some textures from the FS2004 version to FSX verion by using Photoshop with the Nvidia DDS plug in but when i save them using the FSX SDK Imagetool, when I load the a/c the textures are there but are all over the aircraft in weird places. i.e The fueslage textures are upside down and at the wrong end of the aircraft. However, when I load the DDS textures form an aircraft that works the textures are orientated exactly as I have them, so am confused at what is going wrong.Could anyonre offer some advice where I might be going wrong, or if someone could point me in the right direction of how to convert a FS2004 texture to FSX DDS texture? This is all for the 744 and 74X.Thanks,Graham
  9. Thanks for the replies, that worked with the blurries a treat. I really think I might have to wait for a better rig to run it though, is quite intensive and takes a lot out of the game when you cant even have buidings! Thanks again.Graham
  10. Any ideas where I am going wrong? All sliders set to low. AA and AF controlled through Graphics drivers.AMD 64 3200+G8-KANSC-939 Mobo1Gb RAMRadeon 9800 ProI know I haven't got the greatest rig but it should at least handle the basics surely??Thanks,Graham
  11. Hi Stan,I run Vista 32 bit and have no issues with FS2004 and any of the PSS products.Regards,Graham
  12. Thanks guys, will try when I get home..Graham
  13. I know I only have a 9800Pro and 1Gb RAM and an Ahtlon 64 3200+ but surely this is avoidable somehow? I can't upgrade being the pauper I am but could someone suggest what might be going wrong here?I run FS2004 perfectly and have no issues at all, it is only FSX that does it to me.Thanks for any help,GrahamP.S It usually does this a few monutes into trying a flight and most settings are lowest.
