  1. Hi, I recently purchased and installed the excellent Cessna 152 for FSX Accelerator by Just Flight. I notice that in the C152 manual there is an option to use a 'Panel Switcher' to incorporate the 'Flight 1 GTN 750/650' into the virtual cockpit panel. I don't own this software and I believe Flight 1 have long since discontinued selling and supporting it. What I am really asking, is this RealityXP GTN 750/650 compatible with the Just Flight C152? If I can be assured that this product will show correctly in the Just Flight C152 (FSX) using the 'panel switcher' I am sure to purchase it but, I am hesitant to do so before finding out if it is fully compatible. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide in relation to my question. Kind Regards
  2. This is a reply by the initial poster of this topic to say there was not in fact a problem with this aircraft alone. The selecting of other aircraft within FSX from other providers also showed the same issue. Because of this I widened my search for an answer and found it within the FSX Display settings which applied to aircraft. The 2D panel transparency had some how been set to 100% which removes the panels completely from view. Re-setting this value to 0% allowed all 2D panels to once again display! A happy ending and defiantly not an issue with the Alabreo C400 titan! Regards
  3. Hello, I have recently purchased and installed and used without any problems this great aircraft within FSX (Accelerator). As I say, initially all was well, all the 2D pop up windows showed as expected when selected. I have since added a single user repaint to the aircraft folder which seems to be showing ok, since then however, (there may be not connection) when I select shift + 1 for Auto Pilot 2D window it does not show, neither do any of the other 2D panels when selected. This is the case if selected from the FSX Aircraft Instrument panel drop down menu also. With a closer look at the VC cockpit view, it may be helpful to know that when a 2D panel is selected, while it does not become visible, if I click within its window area and hold the left mouse down (as if to move the panel) a white border for the panel appears. Also the click spots to make adjustments to the various switches on the 2D panel do show a tool tip numeric value (When tool tips is active) and settings can be made, however this is all without seeing the panels themselves. Any thoughts on how to get back my 2D panels? Regards Charliebravo
  4. I tried disabling the Birmingham Xtreme V3 Scenery I mentioned above to see if it was this that was effecting the odd DME readings from Honiley VOR that I am receiving within FSX, on testing FSX the problem still persists, so it is not related to this UK2000 Add-on. Does anyone know how to check the actual xml file buried somewhere within the FSX installation to see what Honiley VOR should be looking like in text form. Maybe if some one who knows their Honiley VOR is showing the correct operational information, could they paste the xml section of text relating to Honliley VOR (113.65) in to this post and I can try cross checking a good entry with my own entry, to see if there are any errors with my version. I can't think of any other way of trying to fix this problem. Many Thanks for ant help with this one. Regards
  5. Thank you for your reply. The answer to your question is, quite possibly. I have just purchased and installed UK2000 Birmingham Xtreme V3 which covers the area just north of the Honiley VOR. Not sure if this would interfere with the default FSX VOR's? apart from that add-on all other add-on's I have are horizon VFR scenery for England which does not effect the default Nav Aids within FSX, as far as I understand it.
  6. Hello, After making a recent flight in to Birmingham UK (EGBB) within FSX I noticed that the Honiley VOR DME (Freq. 113.65) is showing a very odd DME reference when tuned. The VOR can be tracked with both Nav 1 and Nav 2 but the DME for Honiley VOR shows 127 NM DME when directly over the Nav Aid? When you try to follow the DME tracking the miles down, they disappear at 116 NM DME when Honiley drops out of range and the actual Nav 1 and Nav 2 Bearing needles drops out at the same time (if both tuned to 113.65). The VOR/DME Honiley identification Prefix is correct, 'HON' ( Morse ident is . . . . / _ _ _ / _ . ) Honiley VOR/DME also shows up in the correct location within the FSX map view which makes this problem very odd. Anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be happening and can I ask if it can be fixed? Many Thanks for any help. Regards
  7. Hi, I have purchased a long time ago the PMDG Beech 1900C and 1900D which was released for FS2004. Is there a version of this product which is compatible with FSX as this is my preferred simulator at the moment? Anny help will be much appreciated. Regards
  8. After looking up these files in my FS2004 origonal installion I found that these 2 files (along with another 13 or so) had been disabled with the extention added as "BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup"This has obviously had something to do with the VFR Terrain software installation process which I also have installed within FS2004.The 2 files you suggest where re-activated by my removing the file extention names and after deleting the .dat file (which is automatically re-made during scenery congiuration) and after re-starting FS2004 I now see a coastline on the east of Ireland ! I am still missing the wave effect that appears as the sea meets the land but this is a vast improvment. While not having verry much knowledge od scenery matter in FS2004, can I ask how you where able to specify the exact .bgl files that are associated with this part of the FS2004 scenery? If there is some master reference that you refer to I would be interested in looking it up if it is freely available.Anyway, I am not sure what the re-activating of these 2 files has done to my VFR Terrain installation but I can't see it as being very much. For your infomation the other files that have been disabled in the same folder (Scenery\EURW\Scenery\) are as follows: 1.HL946130.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup2.HL946140.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup3.HL947120.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup4.HL947130.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup5.HL947140.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup6.HL948120.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup7.HL948130.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup8.HP946140.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup9.HP947120.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup10.HP947130.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup11.HP947140.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup12.HP948120.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackup13.HP948130.BGL.VFRTerrainInstallBackupperhaps there names can be identified with some part of the UK scenery? Perhaps one or more of them may restore the costal wave effect? Thanks again for your kind help, I am more than grateful.Regards
  9. Thanks for your help once again and I will try replacing the .bgl files that are suspect as you suugest then I will get back to you.Regards
  10. Thank you for your reply,I don't beleive I have either of these add-on's installed.I do have vfr photo scenery for England and wales and vfr Terrain by Horizon Simulations and FS Global Terrain SE.
  11. My problem is that the whole of the east side of Ireland's coast line is blocked rather than showing the correct coastline. This problem appears to effect any coastline scenery to the east of Longditude 7.30 West, both to the north and to the south of Ireland and right down the east coast. The west side of Irelands coastline (West of West 7.30 Longditude) is showing correctly from top to bottom.I have tried disableing any add-on scenery that might be effecting this part of Ireland's coast line (FS Global SE, VFR photoreal for England and Wales, and VFR Terrain for England and Wales), however the problem still exists.I have attached 2 screen shots showing first the south of Ireland's coastline where the scenery changes from blocked to correct coastline, then the second image shows the north of the Irish coastline where the coastline changes from blocked to correct coastline. Anyone suggest a solution without dosn't involve re-installing FS2004 from scatch, which I really do want to avoid if possible.Thank You, and your help is appreciated with this problem.
  12. Found a more recent gauge (from "version2 panel" download from flightsim.com), after adding this all seems well with tinmouse panel. Thanks for the help.
  13. Thank you for your advice, can I ask how do I check which version of the panel gauge I have? The reason I ask is of interest for another reason aswell as the one you mention, with regard to the "performance data Calcuation system". When I validate the "pdcs" (page 3) system and then enter a figure in to the temperature field and activate the take off thrust calculation I always get the default epr of 1.52 which can be activated and the bugs on the epf fauge do move to indicate this selection. The epf remains the same (1.52) when I select climb thrust. It seems that the calculation is not being made. This part of the panel I know should provide variable epr settings, maybe it is a problem with my panel gauge. All other aspects of the panel seem to be working well. any ideas?Thank you for your continued help with my Tinmouse 737-200 panel issues.
  14. As a big favor for myself, as a one very much interested in the technical aspects of this great aircraft, I would very much like a copy of this manual (if you have scanned it). This would be very much appreciated. If you are ok with this request, how will I be able to receive it?Regards.
