  1. Hi Catchman, thanks for your help. I managed to find the real culprit, it was a WOAI package that I installed. It generated a FS9 bgl rather than a FSX one. I converted it to an FSX bgl type and all works now. I installed it at the same time I was editing the exits in the cfg files so that's why I was a bit confused.
  2. Hi all, I've ran into a pretty unique problem and wondered if anyone had some ideas. I have a number of AI packages (mostly WOAI) installed which have worked just fine until now. I've recently edited the exit codes in all the aircraft cfg files so that I can have the jetways dock to each of the AI aircraft. This seemed to work just fine until I noticed that at a number of airports the AI aircraft are suddenly not showing up. I've installed ADE files for some of these airports but still with no luck. I'm finding it difficult to tell on what basis for which airports FSX is determing whether or not to load the AI traffic. Very strange and not sure if it has to do with the movable jetways. If anybody has any suggestions I'd greatly appreaciate it.
  3. Thanks for the tip! It'd be great if Microsoft allowed an option where you could enter an airline and flight number and just automatically check for and delete the AI plane every so often on its own. Perhaps somebody out there with greater tech intellect than I could develop something in the future. Thanks again.
  4. Hi all,I was wondering if there was a tool out there that can remove a single AI flight from the bgl file. I like to fly real world flights however it's always a nuisance when you either hear ATC calling out your flight number to the duplicate AI aircraft or see your flight as an AI flight arriving at your destination airport at the same time. I usually just use ttools to decompile the airline bgl file, search for the flight that I'm about to fly, temporarily remove it, then recompile the file again. I was just wondering if there was a tool available that can do this whole process for you or at least make it easier. I've found AI Swapper but that just deactivates an entire bgl file which can lead to removing an entire airline. Thanks for any advice!
  5. Thanks very much for your replies. I downloaded and installed the traffictoolbox and solving my problem couldn't be any easier. No more dealing with BGl files. Thanks again!
  6. Hello,I was wondering if anybody could recommend an easy utility to remove a single AI flight. I tend to enjoy flying actual scheduled flights which are also included in my AI flight plans. In order not to have the same AI flight following me throughout the duration of my flight, I manually decompile the chosen airline
  7. Is there a video or demo of Proflight 2000 in action? I'm torn between getting Proflight or RC4. I like the regional accents of Proflight but the AI interaction of RC4. I noticed however that proflight has interaction on the ground and approach. Does this mean you'll hear the proper airlines that you'll see taxing around you conversing with the ATC? A comparison video would be of great help. Thanks.
  8. Hello,I'm considering purchasing Radar Contact now that it's available for download on the RC website. Before purchasing however I was wondering if the RC voices were region specific. That is, if I was flying from the USA to Germany, would I hear only American accents while flying in US airspace, then only British accents while over the UK, then only German accents while in Germany? Also on last item, I noticed FShotSeat is not compatible with RC. Is there any other way of hearing that winding spool sound while AI aircraft are taking off? Thanks and looking forward to using Radar Contact.
  9. Thanks for your help but unfortunately my computer's a laptop and changing the video card would be too expensive. The only option I have is to increase the memory of which the laptop's maximum capacity is 1024MB. I just wanted to know if anybody thinks doubling the memory would make a real difference.
