  1. Earlier i had a feature on my nvidia card so i could have 2 screens to act as one screen in a resolution at for example 3200x1080. But i can't make it work anymore - i really tried google with no luck. I need this to make virtual cockpit work over 2 screens. My Hardware is:Nvidia 9600GTX @ 1 gbWindows 7 32-bitLatest Nvidiadriver (17-dec-2010).Hope you can help.
  2. i cant find it on that page. can you help me - i'm looking for a guide of who does what all the way from cockpit prep to the end of the flight.
  3. In older PMDG add-ons you could click on a panel and then dock it in a window - which is a great feature. Will this be available in 737NGX too?
  4. Where can i find the normal procedures as a PDF on the WEB for the 737NG - so i can get prepared according to PF and PNF. i've tried google it with no luck - any ideas?
  5. On the later Boeing 737 they have an lnav and vnav deviation marker on the Primary Flight Display. Will the 737NGX have that? And maybe also RNP and ANP numbers on the ND?See here:
  6. All those newly released manuals - do they have any information about how the PMDG 737 is operated? I mean i guess there much be something that differs from the real thing since you control it with a mouse. So is this manual included in the released ones - or are they just copies of the real ones?
  7. I've posted them on my newssite for Flight sim:www.flightsimnews.net
  8. Is it possible in FS9 to zoom below 0.31 - it is a problem when you're are using 3 monitors that fs9 has a lower limit of 0.31 - so is it possible somehow? Or maybe in a way by changing the panel.cfg of the particular aircraft?
  9. The new feature with nvidia GTX 400-series it is possible to make it work like triplehead2go to span it over 3 screens if you have 2 cards in SLI.Have anybody tried it?Does it work?Does the "SLI-mode" slows down FSX?
  10. It looks amazing!!In the video it looks like the framerate is a bit low - should we worry about it? Or is it just because of the recording?
  11. If i have 2 cards of nvidia will i then need to have 2 identical cards - or could one of them be a slower one? When i have 2 cards then i have 4 x DVI ports, will it then be possible to run 3 screens for view and an extra one for lets say avionics?
  12. What kind of tweaks is necessary for ATI? How bad is it? Some very amazing ATI demos are on youtube, for example this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmBn9Wh_eII&feature=relatedAbout nvidia, if i want to run 3 screens through their new surround technology i need SLI setup, right?
  13. I need the 4 video-outputs since i want to run 4 monitors to fsx. if i choose GTX470 then i need 2 cards - but will it be possible with nvidia to make one wide-3-monitor view and 1 view/monitor for avionics?
  14. I am thinking on getting a XFX RADEON HD6870. it has 5!! monitor outputs and eyefinity technology. Anyone who has tried this with FSX.
  15. I've tested my new i7-930 and made a quick simple OC to 3.8 ghz (no voltage change). I have a Geforce 250GTS - and my fsx is not perfoming very convising. My old Quadcore 9650 @ 3.0 ghz with a 9600GTX card is actually almost as fast as the new setup. So my question is - could it be the graphics card?Or could it be the OC is done "too simple"Or something else.I use Windows 7 64-bit, 6 gb RAM + Geforce 250GTS.
  16. Could you test with MD-11 from PMDG which is said to have same frame rate as NGX.
  17. How does GPS landing work? Is it specific airports that supports it or is all supporting it? does FSX work with it or? I'm a bit confused.
  18. If it's just an update like SP3 or something there could be one plus - all add-ons might work from day 1. So we aren't going to wait another 5 years for PMDG 737NGX for Flight ;)
  19. Now i found another picture, and the "bulp" is a bit wrong - maybe it extrudes too much back and a its a bit too wide. The handled is like centered to the buttom of the end of the bulp. thus the bulp is not much wider than to the handle for the window.check this shot:And still let me clarify that the "whole picture" looks fantastic - it's just that detail that cought my eye.
  20. Kane> heheAbout proportion i think i have an eye for detail since i've been working as a graphics designer for 14 years - but anyways I have thought about the perspective distortion - but still if you look at the handle it is still quite thin compared to the "thing" (which i dont know what is called) - but still a minor minor detail - and as many others i can't wait. My wallet is also ready - but guess i also need a system upgrade to i7 finally ;) Keep up the great work PMDG and thanks for being here for us enthusiast ;)
  21. It's amazing that you manage to make the displays have photo realistic look as taken with a camera. The only thing i worry about this, is that when sitting in the real aircraft the displays are very high contrasted monitors. The magenta line/FD almost burns in your eye - even in daylight - probably because of the monitor being placed under the MCP.
  22. looks great, but the extrusion on the side of the left/right window above the handle to open the window. Isn't that "thing" too big and thick compared to the real thing? It's the thing right above the window open handle that extrudes from the edge of the left/right windowsLook here
