  1. Hi all :-)I have a small problem. I have a ATI Radeon X1900XTX with the newest driver Cat 8.9. But im not able to get Vsync in FSX SP2 to work. It dosn't matter what i set in the catalyst control panel. Have someone an idea what i can do? Is there a tool like nhancer for ATI cards, where i can force Vsync? Or is there a FSX.CFG tweak? Thanks for any help, and i wish you all a nice weekend.Kind regardsChristian
  2. Hi all, hi BillSorry for bumping up this old topic. Have anyone out there tried the replacement light effects from Schockwave Productions, or have a plane from Schockwave? Is it possible to fix this problem with this payware add on? Would be nice if someone can post if the problem is also visible with this add on or not. What is now with this problem, and all FSX users? Have all FSX users the lights off when they fly at dusk or night? Very realistic :-( I can't believe that all users accept this.Best regardsChristian
  3. Hi allWe have 3 major FSX rendering problems now.1. The flashing cloud bug with disappearing and re-appearing clouds. This problem exist in SP2 DX9 and DX10.2. Flashing/flickering runway taxi linesThis Problem exist only in DX10 mode. Maybe a driver problem, or a fsx rendering engine bug.3. The lighting problem with strobe and position lights. You can see the lights shine throught wings and cockpit/wall where they normally hidden by the object (wing/wall). This problem is visible at night and dusk flights. This drive me personally insane, when u fly in virtual cockpits. And this problem is visible on all fsx planes. See my attached screenshot with the stock Maule. This problem show up on DX9 mode. I Have not tested this under DX10, because DX10 is not useless.I really hope we will see from Nvidia/ATI and Aces Team a fix for this problems. I have absolutely no interest to wait 2-3 years until we will see the next flight simulator version, without this problems.Best regardsChristian
  4. Hi LoopI fly with stock Cessna 172, and with the RealAir SF260. But it doesn't matter witch on i fly. I have this problem on diffrent planes, payware and stock FSX. I have attached a screenshot, where you can see my problem.
  5. Hi LoopHave u tried this when you are on the runway at night? The problem shows up, when you are in the air, and is not visible on ground. And i don't think this is a driver issue, because you can see that bill from eaglesoft know this problem. And i have asked another big developer and they also know this problem. I really hope there is a workaround or an small patch in the future. We will see :-)
  6. Hi allJust a small question. Is there anyway to contact the Aces Support Team? Is there a support form i can fill out, or an e-mail address for sending in a support request? Or do you think it's complete useless for sending a request, because they don't take a look at this problems? I know they have a lot of work to do in developing the next flight sim and train sim, but this problems are in my personal opinion to big for ignoring all the time, until we see the next flight sim.Don't understand me wrong. The FSX is a really nice flight sim with a great graphic and great add on developers. But it's not really funny, when there are bugs, you see every time you flight. I understand when a developer say, that some bugs are way to small for spending time into fixing it, but i think visual bugs u can see all the time, are not small, and should be fixed. Happy flyingChristian
  7. Hi BillThank you for your answer. Now it looks like we have another really big Bug in FSX. I really can't belive that Aces don't take care of this Bugs, and make a patch for this. This problems are big, and every user have this problems. I really hope Aces do something about this. The flashing cloud Bug is also a big problem. And i see this two problems every time i fly with FSX and this make me really angry, and kill my fly experience.
  8. Hi allI have a problem with my FSX, that drive me crazy every time i start up my FSX. At night, i can see the position and strobe lights through the wings and cockpit wall, where the lights are normally hidden. Is this a driver problem, or another annoying bug, that kill my fly experience every day i start up fsx? I really hope this is only a driver issue. The flashing cloud bug is also a bug, that drive me crazy, and kill my fun to fly around. Have someone with an ATI card also have this problems? This lighting problem looks terrible, when you fly at dusk and night. And the problem shows up on the stock planes, and also on payware add ons. I hope someone have a solution for this. Thanks everyone for helping. My System:Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16 GHz4GB DDR2 RAMNvidia Geforce 8800 Ultra 174.74Windows Vista Business 32Bit SP1FSX with SP2
  9. Hi all :-)Take a look at the website of the devoloper. There u can find a patch for the rear window problem under direcx 9 and directx 10. It works great now, and all windows are clear, and u can see through them.http://www.digital-aviation.de/ewpforum/viewtopic.php?t=3870You only need to replace the .bmp file in the texture folder of the Do-27 and nothing more :-)Have fun :-)
  10. Hi all :-)Does no one use this plane in FSX? It would be really nice when this plane will work without the sound problem. I have send Carenado a support mail, but they dont respond to any mail. And i have seen that they dont respond to other customers too :-(Christian
  11. Hi all :-) I bought a few days ago the Cessna Stationair U206G Full Pack. First i have used this plane in FS2004 and everything works perfect :-) But now i have the new FSX installed and i tried to use this fantastic plane in FSX. I installed the plane with the included setup program and the converter to make this plane workable in FSX. Everything works perfect in FSX but there is one strange sound problem. When i switch from the virtual cockpit to external view, then it sounds like the plane have full throttle. The only way to fix this is to disable the sound in the game with the key "q" and then switch back the sound on. But when i go back in to the VC and back to an outside view, the problem comes back and it sounds like the plane have full throttle again, but all throttles are on idle. Is this a conversion problem from fs2004 to fsx? Or is it a soundcard problem? I would be really happy if you have a small hint to fix this problem or an idea where i should search for the problem on my system :-) This plane make so many fun to fly :-) And it would be fantastic to use this plane in fsx without the sound problem :-) I hope u have understood my english :-) I wish you all a very nice day, and happy flying :-)Kind regards from Switzerland Christian
