I have the same problem with my computer freezing along with low frame rates. (fs9) I do get a message after installing flightbeam sfo9 that says my computer is not connected to the internet, (which it is,) and I must see the addon manager to fix certain files or complete them. How would you convert 32bit alphas into DTX3 ?thanksDoug

Hi all, I am running FSX in windows 7 and also have the CH yoke, throttle and rudder pedals. These devices will only work if I unplug and reinstall the USB connectors. If I install control manager, they will work fine, but I would like to run the throttles through FSUIPC and it will conflict with the CH Control manager. any ideas? thanks Doug Morlan

My computer: intel® core2 quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66GHZ 2.67GHZ RAM 4.00 GB 64 bit OS. Nvidea 9800.I do not get an event viewer,is this a window that pops up? and my computer is not overclocked. Its amazing how many issues are caused by changing an OS.by the time I figure out all of them, I will need a new computer thank you for your help regards Doug

I have tried " alt enter" also using the task bar and it freezes. I have tried removing FSUIPC and fsx freezes. I have tried "alt enter"3x, and it freezes, fsx runs flawlessly with great frames, no crashes, but I can not see the EZDOK studio unless I can get windowed mode. I can not get into windowed mode. I was able to a few days ago. I am running windows 7, 64 bit Doug

I have FSX installed on windows 7. It runs great but with alot of little issues that keep comming up each time I load FSX. The new one is that when I press "alt enter" to see the EZDOK studio, the computer freezes, and I have to force the log off. This has been going on for about a week now.Thanks for any input Doug M.

Help please, I have a registerd copy of FSUIPC4. I have been runing it in vista for FSX and it worked great. I am now running FSX in windows 7. I installed FSUIPC4 and it worked for about a week. When I start FSX, I get a message saying that FSUIPC4 is corrupt or something like that. It will ask me if I want to run the software, If I select yes, my flight controls will not work. I have the CH controllers, peddles, quad, yoke. I have removed and reinstalled FSUIPC4 a couple times and it does not help. What could have corrupted this file? thanks for any input Doug Morlan

Thanks for the info, I followed your procedure and changed the text to read : CLS @ECHO OFF SET PATHX=C:/FSX C: start./FPS_Limiter.exe/r:D3D9/f:30/x:OFF/I:OFF"%PATHX"/fsx.exe I have the Limiter.bat on my desk top and the other files are in the root folder of FSX. When I double click the Limiter.bat file on the desk top, it just opens. Should'nt FSX start? Doug

Thanks for the reply, yes, I use java to open the gui file, I get the small window where you locate the fsx.exe, it shows 30 fps, I click create bat, and nothing happens. I have fsx located in my C drive, C/fsx/fsx.exe. It shows fsx.exe in the name window and C:/FSX/fsx.exe in the path window. does that look right?

I am unable to locate advanced animations within FSX or in a serch. can you point me in the right direction? thanks Doug

Hi all, I just reinstalled the PMDG 747 on windows 7, and it runs great except that the wings are stiff and the otbd ailerons are drooped and will not move, in flight or on the ground. Any Ideas on how to fix this?thanks Doug Morlan

Hi all, I reinstalled the pmdg 747 in windows 7, everything looks great except the wings. They do not flex, they are stiff and the otbd ailerons do not work. In my last post, someone mentioned "shaders", and that I should turn this on. All I found was files when I serched for it. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated. thanks Doug M.

Hi all, FPS limiter I am running windows 7 on a 64 bit system. I have FSX located in C/FSX. When I run the exicutable to get the bat file, It does not create one. It looks like the directions want FSX located in program files(x86). Does this matter? Doug

I just installed windows 7 and I am running FSX. It runs beutiful !, but there are problems. I have the PMDG 737NG, PMDG 747-400, CS 707. I am also using EZDOK. I use FSUIPC to control the landing gear, flaps and views on the hat switch and I use the default settings through FSX to operate my CH peddels, throttle quad, and yoke. One day it works great and the next day, nothing works. If I reconfigure it, shortly after I will get I think is a CTD. my computer screen starts to go grainy and I loose control of it. I end up pulling the plug to power it off. Not good. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks Doug Morlan

Hi all,I have been trying to locate the FSX aircraft folder for the past couple days. I have located cfg files and only.I know where FSX is located and I can see a variety of folders, but no aircraft folder. I went to search options and selected (show hidden files)and that did not help. I also see the captain sim 777 folder (the one I am trying to install the TSS sound in), but all there is in that folder is an icon.thanks for any ideasDoug
